  1. Need to get it done in the 90 then. Wouldn't fancy going into ET at 2-1 knowing if they scored first we would need to get 2.
  2. Couple of questions; 1. What is this match worth to Motherwell if we win? £2,000,000? 2. Do away goals count double in extra time or does the score 'reset', so to speak, at the start of the last 30 mins? For the life of me I can't remember.
  3. Wow! We stopped and chatted to you in the square in Copenhagen on Friday night, just before you were getting to catch your first train. Some journey back that is for sure. Fair play to you.
  4. I agree. He looks like he could be a very good player for us. Wouldn't go as far to say we were underwhelmed. I personally was a bit relieved. Killie announcer really needs to do his homework before the next game.
  5. Kind of glad they didn't get a really good result going into Thursday.

    Kilmarnock

    Jennings for me as well.
  7. Certainly could turn out to be the biggest week yet for Fitzy in regards to his Motherwell career. The guy has another contract to win. Lets see what he can do today.
  8. Agree with that. Going to be positive and say 2-1 win for Motherwell.
  9. Excellent start to the campaign. Well done lads!!
  10. Shooty in if same as Reykjavik. All luggage store in the 'undercarriage' (if you know what I mean). Just drop it there, have a quiet word in Diane or Wilma's ear and off you march.
  11. I've been lucky enough to see 4......and all but one of Jamie Murphy's Euro goals. Had to be the one that broke the record though
  12. You not make it to Wales? They were giving them away there
  13. Hate to be negative here as I am really looking forward to the trip but can see us getting beat. 3-1 to Odense with big Sutts getting our goal. We could only manage 1 goal in each of the last two away ties against lesser opposition (admittedly we are fitter now) so I would be amazed if we score two or more. 3 - 1 at least keeps us in it. Anymore than a two goal defecit and like Celtic and Hibs we will be out. The game at Fir Park should be the more interesting tie of the two.
  14. Still young and inexperienced and regardless of yesterday I wouldn't (yet) put Craigan or Reynolds out the team for him. If we have plans to sell Reynolds this month he HAS to be playing to justify as high a price tag as possible. He will get his chance but he may have to bide his time.
  15. Still cannae believe I missed this Bloody John Hughes and his almost hypnotic touchline aggression/theatrics.

    Mark Reynolds

I'd imagine there will be a right few on here raging (for a few reasons admittedly) when Dundee United, Hearts, and, Aberdeen come sniffing about in January trying to get him for nowt next summer.......and this WILL happen if he isn't away come 1st September.
  17. Ah, so only good performances get rewarded with capitals. It was like the bloody Da Vinci Code for a while there
  18. Has he even been featuring in any bounce games? Thought he would have at least played in the game vs Bathgate. I take it he wasn't taking part in the Motherwell vs Motherwell game due to Cyprus U21 game?

    Hibernian

Randolph for me with mentions to Humphrey, Murphy, and Lasley (first half).
  20. Yeah, didn't notice that......why I thought it was odd when he came off. I imagine if he hadn't been struggling, Brown would have taken someone like Saunders off instead. Happy with his contribution again today. He isn't even in the same league of 'arseholeness' as John Hughes. A man who consistently screams at his players and constantly punches his own palm as if to indicate his players should be going right through the back of anything not wearing green and white. Up there with Steven Pressley as an opposition manager it grates to get beat by. Aye, he does but the last ten minutes seemed like constant high balls into the box/edge of the box. I'm not saying it won't work now and again but I don't want to see that all the time.
  21. I take it this was info on the TV? I must admit I didn't see he was struggling at the game.
  22. Bit disappointed but not exactly surprised. Thought Lasley was great until the foul. If talent scouts were watching Reynolds today then I predict we will have him to January at least. Not doing himself any favours at all. Randolph was very solid at times and was happy with a lot of Hammell's passing. Hateley didn't seem to get into the game at any point. Sutton was marked out the game by Bamba who really should have been booked early on. The more I see Murphy the more I think he might be the ideal replacement for JOB. Great running and skill and good to see him put away the penalty with confidence. Blackman looked like he could be a decent player. Certainly couldn't have been on the park for more than five minutes before he won us a penalty. Casagolda didn't get too many chances to do anything. It would appear if we are chasing a game Blackman and Sutton/Casagolda will be the targets for high balls. I would have kept Humphrey on for the 90 mins. At that time we were getting beat. Didn't see the point in taking off our most creative (on the day) player. I would have taken off Saunders instead and went 3 at the back. Mixu was sat a few rows behind me in the POD Stand. I'm sure he didn't see anything that scared him as by all accounts Killie gave Rangers a pretty hard game yesterday. Need to perform better next Sunday.
