I'd imagine the majority of folk that are going to the games mate will be working that week and like myself probably wouldn't want to take days off, not with potential Euro trips and a new season looming. If it wasn't for being in Europe I probably would have made a few days out of it.

Hopefully, something will be getting arranged. Brechin on the Tuesday and Forfar on the Wednesday isn't ideal when your working early doors on the Wednesday and Friday.

Whilst a minor point I think some of the traditionalists may be disappointed when they see the new home top up close. Rather than having a 'continuous' claret hoop around the shirt it is seperated by two amber 'panels' down the sides. Imo it is more two claret bands than one claret hoop.

Quality of the opposition doesn't matter. Results don't matter either. In saying that they shouldn't be ahead of us fitness wise. Purely designed to get the players match sharp imo.

If he gets an offer from the Championship he will be gone. The fact he is one of the few Motherwell players who have been publically linked to specific clubs down south leads me to think he will be away. I expect Reynolds and Coke to leave and hope Fraser does too. From there I'd like to see a keeper, defender, winger, and forward join us......but I think I'm being to optimistic.

Would agree that age will be a factor LT. I also think that Coke will have his eye on the Championship and wanting to see what develops there. IIRC Jennings and Hateley weren't linked to any other clubs whereas Coke has been linked to Bristol City and others. Whilst I would like to keep Coke he would have been number 3 on my 'must stay list' that also contained Jennings and Hateley.

Spot on. A lot has been made of his 'weak ending' to the season but he wasn't the only one. Overall his contribution last season was immense and IIRC he played in every game in a very good season for us. Delighted he is staying and even more delighted it is a 3 year deal he has signed.

Noticed that as well. Fingers crossed we won't get the same issues. Italy away (paper thin) aside the quality of PUMA replica tops has been good as far as I have seen. Could have ended up being muticoloured though like two years ago. I thought that looked terrible.

Badge looks different. Seems to have a thicker claret circumference (now that IS running a critical eye over it ). Hope it is a sew in badge similar to what we have had since 2005 rather than a transfer effort similar to Liverpool's new kit (adidas admittedly).
