  1. Aw well if they are from one of the "biggest name makers" then I suppose everyone needs to drool over them regardless.
  2. Take away the PUMA logos on the away and there is nothing else but a badge in a sea of white.
  3. I stand corrected. I'm all for adding experience to the team but for me 34 is a wee bit old especially when I have heard some of the things Brown has said about Craigan and having to rest him "because of his age" etc. Ross as a cheap back up.....maybe. As a full time RB and I will be looking for Boyle to rehire Gannon until September 1st before returning the job to Brown.
  4. That or he has a self portrait up in his loft.
  5. Whoever designed it is needing slapped We were either going to get the one we have or the big collar with 'jaggy' trims round it. Poor Italy have been saddled with both for their home and away.
  6. Be interesting to see where the Jack Ross rumour has come from as the only place I have seen it is on here. Pretty sure he is 32/33 and not 35. I must admit I have seen him play plenty of times and I wouldn't be overly chuffed if he signed. Fraser to South Africa? Apparently (according to a diplomatic and careful Brown) it is MF that is wanting away. Obviously feels he won't get his chance next season.
  7. Sadly we have been given (or picked) the collar that is on the Italy home top for our away kit. I'm not a fan of that at all. Imo it (collar on the Italy top) is one of the worst I have ever seen. Doesn't look quite as bad on ours due to it looking like it is only white and claret. In saying that both kits are nice and simple. In fact I can't believe how basic they are......and that is a good thing. The away kit is almost the current England kit it is that plain A better collar on the away kit and they would be perfect imo. For me the home beats the away......as it probably should. Although 'ASB' could spoil the pair of them
  8. Indeed. Which was why I thought this; "Hollis, 24, came through the youth ranks at New Broomfield before making his senior debut, aged just eighteen, against Queen of the South at Palmerston Park. Despite his young age, he has gone on to play a further 30 times for the Diamonds but was released, along with the rest of the Airdrie squad, at the end of last season." was a rather unique way of introducing a new player. I can only imagine he is friends with Kerr, rated as a good back up by Kerr, and extremely cheap due to being a back up 1st Div/2nd Div keeper and currently unemployed.
  9. “At this moment we have two goalkeepers; Michael Fraser and Lee Hollis. Michael has had some offers from abroad which he is considering and should he decide to move on, then we’ll obviously have to go and get another goalkeeper." From that quote I read that if Fraser DOESN'T go one of those players will likely be our first choice 'keeper next season. As I said before Hollis deserves a chance but I'm still a bit worried by this prospect. Can we afford three keepers? Only if Hollis is on a very small wage. Most realistic scenario is Fraser has been told he doesn't figure in the plans for next season so he can find himself a new club if he wants. Now if Fraser wants to sit out thenext 6 months to a year and collect a pretty decent wage he might end up being our first choice through default due to not being in the position to afford another keeper or Hollis having enough experience. If we do get Ruddy again then it is only because Fraser has moved on imo.
  10. All joking aside he must be away or that is a pretty pointless thing to announce.
  11. Sounds like somebody has info..........................
  12. Craig Brown said at the Sponsors Night it was Everton who knowcked back our bid to buy Ruddy in January.
  13. Aye, those stats haven't exactly taken away any concerns I had.
  14. I'm taking the as a cast iron guarantee of a petrol blue away kit next season (IIRC)
  15. On thinking about it I'm with you on this. SKY/ESPN already get about TWO MONTHS notice before the fixtures start to figure out what games in August/September they want so I'm not sure how another two or three weeks would help.
  16. What I was thinking. At least we would avoid a very early Sunday game. Or we should anyway.
  17. Struggling with the Hollis situation. In one hand I have never seen the guy and he may be a pretty good find and if we sign him the guy needs a chance. On the other hand I have little faith in Fraser and worried we may sign a keeper who was, for whatever reason, unable to play in a relegated Airdrie first team last year. I don't see Motherwell having three full time goalkeepers on the books either to be honest.
  18. I'd be surprised if Crags wasn't now one of the top earners as well.
  19. MASSIVE hike in wages I trust?

First I've heard. Would be very happy with that but not sure how we would fit it in all going well for Europe.

Pretty pleased to see the players will have had two weeks training and three friendlies under their belt BEFORE the 2nd Round 1st leg match on the 15th.
  22. Good news. Hopefully hear about Tom Hateley soon as well

Rickoza, was it yourself that posted the 'friendlies' website link a couple of weeks back?
