IIRC the quotes were from his dad right enough Coke, I'm not overy worried about although I do think he is away. To Dundee Utd? Doubt it. I still think we have ZERO chance of getting either player next season under any kind of deal. Every Championship club will be well aware of the pair of them. Each one will be able to stump up the cash to buy them, pay top notch wages, and offer first team football in a very competitive league. We had them for a season and it was mutually beneficial for both. Time for us to move on imo and try to get others in (on loan) who can hopefully do as good a job.

I don't doubt that people genuinely know who the sponsor is. One or two of these people will probably we trying not to give the game away as they heard it from someone in the club. Would be very, very, very annoyed if the word 'Airdrie' ended up on the front of a Motherwell shirt. ASB I could handle but not the full lot.....which lets be honest it would HAVE to be. Hopefully just a (good) wind up.

You might pick one or two up in the shop during the summer but they won't (sadly) be made available for all fans throughout the season. Sponsor just wouldn't have it and who can blame them. ZOOM aside we have been lucky with regards to how sponsors have looked on our shirts. JAXX (well maybe except from Bukta away Season 2008-2009) and Anglian Home Improvement looked especially smart. Sponsorship money is the main thing in this......but I do I agree with UBH. It would be a shame if our new kit was wasted by a poor sponsors logo or slightly embarrasing company sponsor.

All joking aside didn't JAXX give us £200,000 over the two years giving us our (apparently) biggest ever sponsorship deal? I'm wondering what kind of "local financial institution" could match that or afford to sponsor us.

I would have been gutted. Honestly. I would have taken a Ross County win as bad as any defeat Motherwell had in the League/Cup this season. Imo County winning the Cup would have 'tarnished' my memory of the 6-6 and 3-3 games as ultimately we would have came so close to having a VERY successful season but failed. The 6-6 and 3-3 games would have been littered with "what ifs" for me. Now that we HAVE qualified for Europe, I can enjoy them for what they are, namely great combacks and not look at them retrospectively as chances wasted and a bit of a disappointment. As for loss making, it won't be. Criag Brown admitted on BBC Scotland that qualifying for Europe will probably mean an increased budget for next season. The only Scottish team I have an affinity/connection with is Motherwell. I couldn't care less about every other one of them.
