  1. Don't fancy us to take anything from this game. Would be very, very, happy with a point. 3-1 Celtic.

Fair play to Broon. He has been watching a lot of trialists play bounce games for us recently.
  3. Whoever they are.....they are in place. Announcement soon apparently.
  4. One paper was quoted as saying that if Celtic sold Boruc for £4m then they would move for Ruddy. Would he be the automatic number 1 though?
  5. Wins against Flamurtari and Aberdeen are my joint favourites. Beating McGhee's mob at home 3-0 was as good as any 8-1 pub team humping
  6. Away from 'home' as well. Well done indeed.
  7. Doesn't appear to be a kit deal either. Was informed in the shop we have a new supplier but couldn't tell me who it was as a couple of things had to be sorted first. He was right not telling me. It would have been on here in seconds Back on topic..............hopefully a big crowd for the Hibs game now.
  8. Not seen anything on the website about tickets being on sale yet. I take it with only five days to go before the game they are though.
  9. Incase anyone missed it the 'official' goal of the SPL season 2009/10 is Stokes' strike for Hibs against Rangers at Ibrox. Lovely bit of skill and great goal............but I still say Forbes' goal was better
  10. Would love it to be true...........but can't see it happening.
  11. New shirt sponsorship deal being announced? As been said if it is isn't this, new kit supplier, or news on Hateley, Jennings, or O'Brien I will be surprised.
  12. Hateley? Jennings? Lukas? All three? Seriously, I'd expect one of them to be the announcement of a new kit supplier.
  13. As POTY awards have been dished out before the end of the season, I was wondering what folk on here considered our goal of the season. I have included a poll with nine of the goals that stick out im my head but less spectacular goals have meant more to us i.e. Saunders strike yesterday hence why I have included 'another goal' option. So what is your favourite and why? My own is Ross Forbes vs St Johnstone on the first day of the season. What a strike and for me highlighted the fighting spirit and talent we have right through the team.....as well as the expectation we all had for the season ahead. After that day I was saying that I thought I had seen the goal of the season already. Tom Hateley's free kick was immense but I'm going for Forbes' strike due to the angle he hit it from. Truly spectatcular and I hope he regains the confidence he showed at the start of this season. The lad has some left foot on him.

There will be other factors that will reflect in that statistic. I doubt that (especially the first part as that would imply the conceeding of goals) is solely down to JOB.
  15. Rereading the thread I think you are right. My mistake.
  16. Explain the adulation Maros Klimpl received last year then.
  17. What about that bald Jambo in the Main Stand as well who spat the dummy BIG TIME? Ball went out for a throw in and this fat lad (who had a wee boy with him and was old enough to know better) got hold of the ball and as Saunders sauntered over to retreive it from him, said bald baby, launched it on to the park with a petulant throw that was a true 'toys oot the pram' moment that must have been embarrassing for every other Jambo in the ground. I'm sure I saw Saunders pishing himself from where I was sitting. Needless to say, bald baby and small boy left ground shortly thereafter. In my mind I like to think the wee boy, mortified at his dad's behaviour, told the bald baby he was going up the road for being an arse and dragged him there by the lug, skelping his erchie all the way there
  18. Delighted with todays result. Would be over the moon with four points from the next nine. I think that would be enough (especially if we beat Hibs) to secure 4th.
  19. If a couple of results go our way before we play Hibs, and we beat them we could have 4th place sewn up BEFORE Ibrox........and Celtic and Dun Utd could finish wherever they want for all I care. Get Celtic stuffed next Saturday.
  20. Glad he kept a clean sheet today. Made a mistake at the start, as others have highlighted, that could have been very costly but he got away with it. Kicking still an issue but was a bit more cautious with regards to distribution so can't fault him there. I think Ruddy will be back for the trip to Parkhead.

No way is he the best player in the team. The fastest and perhaps, at times, the most 'exciting' to watch but tries too many 'fancies' that usually result in the opposition gaining possession and going on the counter. He is cracking for going on runs, winning freekicks in dangerous positions, and getting the odd penalty but his crossing/shooting is poor at best. Four goals (two in the one game as well) in his Motherwell career to date is quite a poor return imo.
