  1. Still to be convinced on this. Would be interesting to see the results if it came back for say a three month trial period. Given the spike in hospital A+E visits on OF day I would be surprised to see it happen right enough.

Ahead of McGregor, Alexander, Zaluska, and, Boruc? Admittedly, possibly one, two, or maybe even three on current form but not every one of those I have listed. For the record I think McGregor is a better goalkeeper. Agree with Motherwell when he said "He is a great keeper, but I can't say he's the best we've had when he's only played 20-odd games." We had Buzz for four years and in that time there was a dip or two in form. You'll get that with any keeper. Ruddy will be prone to that too but luckily we haven't seen too much of it. It wasn't that long ago though where the guy was getting slated for being to blame for about 3 goals at Ibrox. You are only as good as your last game. Admittedly (and you can even stretch that to games) he has been fantastic recently. I just don't think he has been here long enough to call him the best ever or best in the last ten years. Do I want him to stay though? Bloody right!! I'd like him to become the best keeper we have ever had. He certainly has that potential.

Whilst not the main culprit I feel there was a lack of communication between himself and Reynolds that certainly led to the goal. No mistake, Ruddy is an excellent keeper and one of the best we have ever had but I also believe Buzz (although he had his weaknesses) is up there too. For me, at this time, 8 months can't surpass the 4 years we had of Buzz. Not yet anyway

Quite surprised how quickly Buzz has been forgotten and the fact he was excellent for us last year. The truth is, fantastic saves, 12 shut outs, etc. aside Ruddy has made more mistakes this season already than Buzz did in the entire 2008-2009 campaign. That view point will likely not be popular on here but it is the truth. Ruddy is an excellent keeper, no doubt, but sadly when he has made a mistake (admittedly not many) it has been against the better teams. Two games against Rangers and Hibs at FP were the most notable. For me Buzz is still the best keeper we have had this Century, however if we kept Ruddy for another couple of years I do agree there could more than likely be a new number one.

    McGlinchey?

Not so much though when that player is trying to secure his spot at the World Cup.
  6. Good to know Wondering what the problems are though if it isn't the pitch?
  7. Agree with the above. Since Buzz is in goals I'd be instructing HIGH balls into the box. Unless Buzz has been doing something different this should give us a few chances at goal.
  8. Was going to go for Jennings but opted for Null vote instead. Just one of those games.

    McGlinchey?

Aye indeed. Saw him pretending to stretch whilst on the touchline during the first half as he talked to one of his Accies supporting mates who was in the queue waiting to get some scran. Slickest move he had today.
  10. Spot on. One of the most boring games I have EVER been too. Made last week seem like a belter. If that had been against better opposition we would have been beaten today. Thankfully Accies are murder. The amount of individual errors today from both teams was unbelievable. Need to up the performance next week.
  11. Shame, thought with the press that he got on the official site it was going to happen.
  12. Hard one but the Motherwell choice for me.
  13. I think there will be a fair few goals in this one. 3-2 win for us with Lukas bagging a double and Lasley getting a rare goal.

    Jim O'Brien

Along with every other non OF fan in the central belt. No doubt a lot of the talk will be about his time at Celtic and where he sees himself in the summer. Admittedly, the last bit interests me but I'd still rather read it here than listen to the show. Just can't go that radio station.

Current leaders are (I believe); 1. Paul Slane to Celtic 2. Is Yassin shite? There will need to be some discussion on this thread before those champions of length are beat
