We will finish in 5th or 6th place in my opinion. Fourth a wee bit out of our reach I think and we would need to go through a crap last quarter to finish in 7th. I would be over the moon with a fifth place finish as I think that will get you European football next year.

Should have won. Regardless of the offside (and we were robbed there) a complete breakdown between Ruddy and Reynolds cost us the win. Point on the board though and onwards to the Accies on Saturday.

Granted, but the 2-2 draw earlier in the season at NDP was hardly a snorefest. Although a missed penalty, man sent off, four goals, equalizer with minutes to go, 25 yard screamer, manager falling on his arse after swinging from dugout, etc. COULD have happened at Fir Park I'm confident the quality of football played this Saturday will be a notch up from what we witnessed at the weekend mainly due to Accies being at home and in a fight for survival and a better surface for both to play on.

To paraphrase the GM, I try to stay "fair minded" in these circumstances and I agree that is a very valid point to counter my argument.

It could be, but is it? The club are drawing comparisons to other clubs in their official statement. So we can only do that if it suits us? The main reasons I have seen for our pitch being dreadful is because it is new and the weather has been terrible. Weather in Paisley hasn't been great either and they PLAYED matches on the park throughout the bad spell. Furthermore their pitch is only about 6/7 months older than ours. They should, by the criteria I listed above, have been experiencing similar issues surely? Also exactly how many different ways is there to lay and look after a football pitch which is used at a pro level? If we aren't doing the same thing that St Mirren is doing we bloody well better start now.

It should be a better game and sadly that is down to Accies having a better park than us. Hope we have more fans at the game than they do. Again.

On the figures quoted you can see why the club put away fans in the Main Stand as well......but I still don't like it. Strange going through all the trouble of away ends/segragation, stewards and police inbetween you during the match and your standing at halftime having a piss in the bogs with a guy in a red, white, and blue scarf standing right beside you.

In an ideal world. However, I have no doubt in my mind they will be housed in the Main Stand corner next to the Cooper Stand as well which means listening to their garbage when you go for a pie or to the bogs. Keep them in the South Stand only. Surely we don't earn THAT much from the small number in the Main Stand??
