Like a few others, I was quick to state to my non Motherwell supporting mates, to watch out for Ross Forbes as he is going to be a future star. I felt more sure after he scored our goal of the season against St Johnstone and some vital ones against Kilmarnock, Dun Utd, Inverness, St Mirren, and Hearts. Even if three of those were from the spot. They still need to be put away. Not been the same player after he missed that penalty at NDP. His two problems are confidence and stamina. The second should be easily rectified at his age. The first imo would then slip into place as he buzzed around that midfield area, as he has the skill and a fantastic left foot. He has scored a lot of goals for this season and for that I am very thankful. Including our Euro campaign he must be on about 10. Think we will see a better player next season.

Agree with that as I don't think it his place to represent the club on here, regardless of the role he carries out. This is one for Leeann only as it is a financial situation. The club are quick to run a series of updates on the official site with regards to the extensive work carried out between May- August last year. Who can blame them after the press of last year. If it is positive scream it from the rooftops, if it is negative ignore it and hope it will go away. That just won't work and will highly irritate. I'm not sure how they address it to be honest, or communicate what is done next/why it is SO bad......but with Rangers visiting in three days, I think they might need to come out with some postive spin/damage limitation comments sooner rather than later.

My main concern is the money we get by selling a player or players in the summer will get put straight into buying a new pitch, again, instead of being reinvested in the squad.

Your also not doing yourself any favours in defending a pitch you haven't seen yet online, TV, or even with the naked eye. It hasn't been done justice in the official pics and the highlights aren't available yet. It looks a lot worse than it did when we played St Mirren and it was poor then. Personally, I think the pitch doesn't look quite as bad on TV as it does when you are actually there. From an aesthetic POV, today is the worst I have ever seen the pitch. How can it be that bad? We knew it would be a difficult first year but to be WORSE than last season??? There is a public park not far from wherw I stay that has bikes rode on it, and games played on it, Saturday AND Sunday and it is in better condition than what we have. I would rather we didn't move from FP but I think this may be the only permanent solution to this problem.

Not the same condition. Not being funny but were you at FP today or seen pics (not those on the official site) of the pitch? It is a disgrace and although other SPL teams are in a similar position ours is without question in the poorest of conditions.
