  1. Oh aye we better get wired in from the start. Hammell and Lasley have a lot to prove. A terrible record against them. Other players such as Randolph, Hateley, Humphrey, Law, Murphy etc. have never beaten them. If they aren't up for this game 100% then major questions need to be asked regarding their professional pride, ambition, and dare I say bottle. They owe it to themselves as much as they do to us. EDIT: Add McCall to that list. His record of 26 goals against and 2 for is astoundingly bad and the only major blot on his MFC copybook. Sort it!
  2. Brechin took them to ET. Peterhead, Annan, and Berwick have drawn with them. QOS now beat them at Ibrox. East Stirling were even beating them at Ibrox. Enough is enough. No respect. No fear. Get them well and truly humped and humbled. Perhaps for the first time in s very long time I actually believe we can go there and win.
  3. I am. Anything less than a win.....by ANY means......and I will be absolutely gutted.
  4. QOS have just shown the way..............
  5. If QOS put this mob out of the Ramsdens Cup that's a wee bit more pressure on our lads, imo.
  6. The main point is a Cup Final, a sixth place finish, a third place finish, experience in Europa League and Champions League and currently top of the league.....and McCall doesn't deserve a chance at say a League 1 or Championship Club? Course he does. Derek McInnes. I'll say no more.
  7. AVB. There is always a second chance at most levels. Remember Malpas got a managerial job after Motherwell and McGhee landed a new role at Bristol after his garbage tenure in Aberdeen.
  8. As highlighted the situation is even more interesting when our manager is in the same boat. Perhaps his is the first contract we need to sort. Although another good season and he really does need to move on for the sake of his own career. If McCall makes it known in January he plans to leave or negotiations aren't going well then perhaps the board alone will take him out of the negotiation occasion. McGhee and Fraser instantly springs to mind and gives me the fear.
  9. Sadly something we have known for a while. Sell, sell, sell in January or lose them for nowt to precontracts the same month or in the summer. I don't see many from that list choosing to stay. Financially better deals will be found down South. I'm also amazed Randolph hasn't had serious interest.
  10. Had no idea about this either? Has it ever been promoted?
  11. There is no foundation to it, or so it would appear, than just getting mentioned on here. I'm sure some of the usual suspects on twitter would have mentioned it by now if he was getting looked at as a potential signing.
  12. Talking about Rangers being a walk in the park and Aberdeen having a crap strikeforce and therefore being dismissed is a bit daft to say the least. Rangers regardless of crap away results will be a different entity at Ibrox. We are top of the league after six games. Glad to be there but lets not get ahead of ourselves with regards to who we can and can't beat. That very rarely if at all pans out. We struggled to beat a poor Dundee side on Sunday. Whilst a win is a win lets get a bit of perspective going in to our VERY DIFFICULT next three games.
  13. Rangers a walk in the park? Jeezo. Aberdeen might have a crap strikeforce but we have also kept just one clean sheet in about ten competitive matches this season. Let's not get too carried away eh!
  14. Riordan not signing for Killie?
  15. Anything less than our strongest lineup would be mental.
  16. Hmmmm. They can never be too weakened. As many players missing for them as possible. Hoping they also have a major off night and our players are on top form. 1-0 win would do me perfectly. We are due some major luck against them.
  17. Draw at Pittodrie. Defeat in games against Glasgow two. Hoping to be surprised right enough. Whilst a treble of wins would be amazing I'm also a realist. Very unlikely. The one I want to win is at Ibrox.
  18. St Mirren was the one I forgot.
  19. Higgy not only got 5 goals or am I missing one? Smash. And. Grab. A win is a win though.
  20. Finlay

    Dundee

Higgy for the smash and grab.
  21. I will be glad when Faddy joins a Club for numerous reasons. Not Aberdeen though.
  22. If we are 100% focused and play to our strengths I fully expect a win. 2-0 for us. Higdon and Ojamaa.
  23. I'd say it's a right pain in the arse the time you need to get up at on a Sunday morning to go to a fitba match. Some will be getting up very early to commute to work Mon to Fri and probably don't fancy doing it on one of their days off at the weekend as well. Who can blame them? Can slso put a bit of an early finish on a Saturday night. Although for the young uns who post I'm sure the two merging has crossed their minds!
  24. Never get in there for cheaper. Pricing is pretty decent.
  25. Very good thread this. Keep em coming folks!
