Exactly. As I've said in a previous post I saw a couple of players trip up on potholes. I'm sure a pitch like that also makes things harder when there are sprints on for loose balls/50-50s. The less committed player will be crapping himself on that surface.

How long did he last today? Couldn't have been long than 10 minutes. Made an erse of his first touch as well. Not the best of days for him.

Lack of skill, horrendous pitch, and the ref made the first half one of the worst 45 minutes of football I have ever seen. Highlight was Imrie getting booked. To be fair to him though he had a good game, whether it is 'cause he hates us or not. Second half was better but DELIGHTED with the win. Again, the talking point will be the pitch. It is a shambles and it is as bad, if not worse, than last season. Visually, it looks a mess with new turf dotted all over the place in between what appears to be sand. Somebody is gonna get hurt on that pitch and be out for a wee while. Once or twice I saw players tripping up on potholes. With our next home game against Rangers I can see it being a MAJOR talking point from Monday to Friday next week. Especially if the result doesn't go Rangers way. Like last season, our pitch could eventually conspire against us and rob us of a top 6 finish. The fact though we are on 33 points has, in the meantime, gave us a great chance. The game at NDP should be a much better game to watch. Well done to the lads today!

Few candidates, again from defence. Going to go for JOB though for his overall effort and (at times) good skill when on the ball.

I'm willing to bet he never scores for Motherwell ever again. He has had a couple of chances recently but have they really threatened. They were as close as his 40 yarder against Inverurie last year.

The only problem there is we will get nothing coming into the box from the right unless Hateley is hitting the byeline. I might be wrong but I don't see Jennings doing what O'Brien can do in the left. Maybe now; Ruddy Hateley Craigan Reynolds Hammell Coke Jennings Lasley O'Brien Sutton Lukas Although that has a JG feel to it. If it wasn't working then one of the midfield three (whoever was least effective) off and CH on to play on right and go to 4-4-2.

Thinking more about it, Hamilton are a different team to Aberdeen so tactically we might NEED to change. Hamilton have a fair bit of dig in them so I'd want a solid, hard, and creative midfield four. Could we incorporate Coke, Lasley, AND, Jennings into that and give O'Brien free reign??

I take it going by the player being mentioned on the official site it is only a matter of time before a decision is made, possibly positive. The fact he is on the site would indicate he is looking good and it is down to finances.
