According to the official site Ruddy has kept 8 (now 9 obviously) clean sheets in the SPL this season. More than any other keeper. Did not know that. Few errors to Rangers at Ibrox and Hibs at FP aside, the guy has been phenomenal.
How many games is Coke suspended for, for that straight red?
Team; Ruddy, Hateley, Reynolds, Craigan, Hammell, Humphrey, Lasley, Jennings, O'Brien, Murphy, Lukas
Heart says a win, head says a draw.
2-1 Well.
Could have been one of a few. Good things goalies do tend to stick out more. Same with errors they make. Nature of the beast. Whilst the whole back four and some of the midfield was impressive I'm going with Ruddy mainly due to that save at the end. Fantastic.
Happy to have CB and AK aboard. Best of luck to them. If they get the job next season as well then that means they have finished this one well. Into Aberdeen on Saturday
The problem is Yass was on £8,000-£10,000 per week at Charlton. Madness I know. I personally heard a former manager, ahem, discuss this. What will Ruddy and Lukas be on? Similar, maybe even more? We have no chance of being able to pick up either wage on a 100% per week basis. We also can't get shot of three/four players and replace them with one. We need more strength in depth than that. We need to keep the likes of Hateley, Coke, etc. and either try to get a permanent keeper (Fraser won't do) and striker or get two more loans in for next year. If we get the same quallity as this year, I'd go for loans again.
We would need to offload a few more then with the wages he is on at Everton. He will be Championship bound at the very least next season. Slightly annoying that Hearts can just dip in and sign whoever they want especially given their financial situation. Let us hope ev ery signing is a step closer to them being gubbed.
Great player but we have no chance of getting him on any kind of permanent deal. I would imagine he is on a very good wage at Everton. One we couldn't hope to match. The fact he has been playing well and scored a good number of goals would no doubt have alerted Championship cvlubs to him and his possible availability. Again, a market we won't be able to compete with. Best we can hope for is keeping him till May.
Positive he wants to stay but if Nash leaves Everton I think he will go back. Hope Brown has a Plan B as I don't fancy Michael Fraser between the sticks from now till May.
"LUKAS JUTKIEWICZ moved to Motherwell and has had a ball - but on Saturday he feared he'd lost one".
"I think one of the lads landed on my leg and the other one landed on my balls".
Classic Sun journalism.
"I'll just need to see how the wound heals though and maybe I'll be able to play on Wednesday".
I would be very surprised if he was in the squad.
Jutkiewicz's loan deal from Everton runs out after this weekend's SPL clash with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
That is not good news at all. Fingers crossed Moyes lets us keep him, and Ruddy, till May.
