His fitness was shocking and stories I heard from the dad of a player on the books at Well during Malcolm's time at the club, then he was extracting the urine as well. One of my biggest memories of Malcolm was the first day of 2008-2009 season away to Hearts. IIRC he was hooked just before halftime 'cause he was sooooooo slow he was in danger of getting sent off. McGhee set him a deadline to sign with us last summer, he let that pass, wasn't offered anything better so signed with us anyway. We were way down his list of priorities. No problems with the guy or his "baggage". He collected a large wage, never took us seriously, and contributed nothing apart from three goals in 18 months. Those are the reasons I wouldn't want him back.

Picked up the away shirt. Seems to have went under a wee bit of "redesigning". JAXX sponsor is now part of the shirt (similar to CCC signs on the sleeves of the home and the away shirt) instead of an iron on transfer. No chance of that coming off Certainly an improvement. The "Authentic MFC" part which was in the inside of the collar is also away.

Still surprised at no official decision being made yet. I was under the impression it had been but was being kept quiet. If so Brown is lying and I doubt he is. Perhaps Boyle is heging his bets and is frantically trying to find another manager and keep under this under the radar. Or perhaps he just isn't as interested anymore. According to Brown he expects to speak to Boyle in next day or so. I'm sure a decision, along with whether we play Accies on Feb 6th, will be made ASAP

I suppose in a way Shrewsbury have a similar moan to the one we are currently having with Paul Slane ie "promising" youngster "half inched" for next to nowt. In that respect we can't cry foul at Celtic and then give the big V to Shrewsbury IF (and that is a big if) they are due money. If they are it could be nippy.

Not sure I agree with this mate. Remember, the players were probably training for a couple of hours and JG probably just watched/instructed. The guys will have done their workout for the day. JG wouldn't have.

Only games I've missed this season were in Albania and Romania. Just didn't have the bank!
