  1. At the moment BBC website has light snow for Thursday and heavy rain for Friday and Saturday. Not exactly promising weather but it does report a low of 1 degree c until then.
  2. Good on ye mate for taking the time and effort to do that. Agree that it is looking grim. In saying that if they get the finger out, and with the worst of the weather behind us, they have all day Thursday and Friday to tackle some of the problem areas.

Hmmm I'm not sure. Certainly has a growing reputation as a coach. I personally wouldn't be dead against it from the very beginning like I am with Jefferies.
  4. Not necesarily. No reason why we couldn't have an experienced man in charge who is looking to end his career with us. Although the chances of that happening.........
  5. I think the most we were in front of bottom spot (Falkirk) was 12/13 points so it isn't a total collapse. This Saturday is massive though. All the talk of Killie being in a crisis and a win for them would see us only three points in front of them. However, on the plus side Aberdeen who are in 6th place have played the same number of games as us and are only one point ahead. We could well find ourselves back in the top six come Saturday night.
  6. Who are Accies and St J's games in hand against though? Take into account as well that Accies next three league games are Dun Utd, Rangers, and Celtic. With a trip to Ibrox in the Cup sandwiched inbetween. Hopefully that is the start of a really bad run for them.

+1 The talk is that Jimmy Calderwood could be the next Killie manager. Wouldn't have minded him at FP to be honest.
  8. It was confirmed from numerous sources and spoke about at length last Saturday on Radio Scotland that Moore was the "World Cup" player Brown was speaking about. Appaprently, it was Archie Know who was doing most of the leg work to get the signing done. I don't recall the position of the player ever being mentioned at the same time as his likely inclusion at the World Cup either.
  9. Anybody heard any rumours about Reynolds? I'd imagine he would be a certainty to leave before the window closes.

Makes it even more interesting that's for sure.
  11. Leeann you said "I would like us all to consider the opportunity for more direct fans involvement. This could take the shape of a Supporters Advisory Committee perhaps made up of representatives from the MFC Trust and the Supporters Association and importantly representatives of those who are not involved in either". I must admit it is something that interests me. When do you plan/hope to have this up and running by?
  12. Aye but have they not got a habit of not turning on their USH as it wakes up the neighbours?

    In charge on Saturday?
  14. Sounds like we are trying for permanent deals rather than loan agreements.

You expecting to hear an announcment regarding McLean or a.n. other today?
  16. To be fair imagine he got the job and took us into a top six finish and the Scottish Cup Final. Legend!
  17. Or mebbes you know something we don't
  18. Small bit in the Daily Record ( ) today where Brown spoke of his disapointment over not getting Craig Moore signed. The reason being his missus fancied sunshine over snow. Fair doos. However, he goes on to speak about looking at a few others although he will need to get rid of a few before he brings anyone else in. Doesn't really sound like the talk of an interim manager and the rumours of a move to Ross County or Falkirk for Crags could have some substance to them.

Certainly during the season. I'm sure Hibs, Aberdeen, and Celtic were all without managers in the close season at the same time. Then obviously followed by Falkirk and us. Heard that the 'Gordon Young equivalent' at Killie is abroad on holiday so an interim manager will need to be announced asap. Tommy McLean is as good a shout as any imo. On the subject of appointments though this is some holiday JB is having. Pretty sure a decision won't be made until they see how Brown does in games. Wrong choice if you ask me. You either give him the job NOW or you get someone else in. The postponements could be used to our advantage. If we lose to Killie, Inverness, and St Mirren, or even only pick up a couple of points and get put out the Cup what next? Bye bye Craigy and start looking for a manager in February? Not ideal.

To be fair it wasn't that long ago when the lettering was coming off the team strips during the games and they certainly weren't getting washed at halftime. A quality issue of some description.
