  1. So we should go there and expect to get beat? They might be the top team but they are the poorest Rangers team I have seen for a long time. That in itself makes it, in my opinion, as good a time as any. Where did I say go to Ibrox and "expect" to win? I said NOW is the time to do it. What I "expect" is our manager to have a bit more belief than going to Ibrox and expecting us to get beat.
  2. You missed the comment about them having periods of inconsistency or did that not suit your reply?
  3. A bit bemused really. Heard JG on the radio on the way home from the game talk about how we were never going to win today but we shouldn't get beat like that. Sorry what? Never going to win?? The radio pundits applauded his honesty but also asked what the Well fans would feel about this comment. I'll tell them. Burnley can beat Man Utd, Chelsea, and Arsenal in the last two seasons, Real Madrid can get knocked out of their domestic cup by a team from another division, yet we were never going to win at Ibrox?? The two examples not concerning Motherwell are MUCH more unlikely in my mind but actually happened. Rangers aren't world beaters and have for periods been very inconsistent. Right NOW is the BEST time in a LONG time to get something from them. If he thinks that how does he expect the players to perform? We were utterly destroyed and some of the goals we conceded were embarrasing. Bad day for Ruddy as he looked to be at fault for at least two of the goals. I'm not sure if he thought the first was going over or it was a great postage stamp effort but he seemed to just watch it go in. I'm not going to overly criticise the guy though as he has been a godsend and we have been lucky to have him. I wasn't going to post this but now almost feel compelled too. I recently overheard JG, with my own ears, verbally slate a current first team player before stating he could (and by the sounds of it will) bring in a player in the next transfer window that is better. Yet this player played today. If he has that poor an opinion of him and his talents/or ability to transfer his instructions to the field of play then why when there is people on the becnh who could do a better job not afforded that chance. Although, if he thinks this of a player who regularly plays I am rather concerned about what he thinks of the guys who are currently catching skelfs in the arse every Saturday.

    Null vote for me.
  5. Think we will finish 7th. Not a total disaster considering preseason.

    Calendar Signing

He must have been there early and left quick or arrived late. I got there at same time as Giles Coke, hung about for a bit, and Lukas was nowhere to be seen.
  7. Can see him going back to Charlton or being loaned out to another Championship club. EPL? Even I would say that is doubtful and I am one of the fans who would like to keep him till the summer.
  8. If you do phone the club mate could you post up the info? If it is tomorrow I might go along as I have a day off work.
  9. After Saturday I am struggling to even see us score. Would be over the moon with a 0-0 draw....but fear 3-0 Celtic.

Wonder if Andy Devlin will have a question or two for Jim Gannon
  12. Promising start to the season as well. Was beginning to think they had a good chance to go for the league. Bit of a nightmare run now. Five defeats on the bounce? Hope they come out the other end soon.
  13. Nae idea on formation but will take a draw. A win would be great though. A defeat would be a bit of a setback especially when you consider our next two games. I'm going for 0-0.

    Cup Draw

I have an unbeaten record up there. Played two, won two. Annoyingly, I can't get the day off work so no joy here
  15. Winning all three just won't happen. Absolutley nae chance. Again, even taking current form of the opposition in our next three games into consideration I believe 5 points is a bit of a stretch. Four points I would be happy with.
  16. Whilst I can't speak for everyone, I personally think some feel the next three games (regardless of OF form) are the hardest you can currently have and that run of five without a win is a very strong possibility. Which makes it harder to take as we should have won yesterday and against Accies.
  17. DosserJoe sums it up perfectly.

    Cup Draw

Let's not be hasty here. Admittedly, they are weak......but progression is the only thing that matters. With a lost of lower league/junior teams available I'll have one of them at home please.
  19. The original post made by italix AND the above are both correct. Highly confusing and very frustrating.

Few candidates today but thought Reynolds looked like a leader at the back so for that reason gave it to him.
  21. Interview with Jim Gannon was on Radio Scotland last night. JG spoke about the impact of Lukas and Ruddy. Stephen Craigan, who was one of the presenters in the studio was asked what the chances of keeping them past January were. His reply was, due to their form he would imagine other clubs have noticed them and if not Everton might want more of their wages paid by Motherwell if they were to complete the season. (This isn't taking into consideration keeping Yassin who JG has recently stated he wishes to keep.) In the end Craigan stated he believes Motherwell will be able to keep ONE from Lukas and Ruddy till the end of the season as both would now be outwith our finances. So...........who do we keep. My pick would be Ruddy.
