It wasn't that long ago a lot of folk were calling Hammell a weak link and were looking for him to be sold to Dundee. A few weeks ago the general chat was that we were missing him when he was out injured. Always a scapegoat in defence at one time or another.

Glories of the 80s doesn't help but probably higher expectations from being one of the 'City clubs' as well. Their fan base outstrips the rest. Really, Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen, Dun Utd, Hearts, and Hibs should be the ones making up the top six without doubt. However, at least one of them has a gash season every year. Hearts this year....so far. In fact wasn't last year the first time since the SPL formed that the top six was filled by the 'City clubs'? If so even then Hibs just snuck it.

To be fair I know loads of folk who don't post on here who think he is pretty decent. Only on here have I noticed this type of backlash. I meant in overall opinion.....not just who posts on here.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure a mate of mine had a 'half price' season book a few years back and it was the full book he was given at the start of December with the understanding it wasn't to be used till (I think the game Uncle Phil died in) after Xmas. Obviously, it got used for a game or two before that.

Crap!! Knew the next two games were Utd at home and Hibs away. Totally forgot it was followed by the OF. Not going to get a harder run of games than that all season. 6 points out of 12 here wouldn't be a disaster.
