Went to get tickets at FP today and there was some left. Cash only though so keep that in mind.

That guy provoked a reaction everywhere. IIRC Accies fans in particular HATED him.

The way football is down south at the moment means anyone up here showing a bit of promise pops up as a potential steal as none of the SPL clubs can command top dollar. A price to pay for 'success'. One I'm willing to accept. If our manager isn't being linked with other jobs then he really isn't getting the results. Fingers crossed it is all talk and if it isn't I hope JG sticks to his word.

Not missed a Motherwell league game home or away since this one..........and I'm still gutted I wasn't there.

A good few of the current squad and a few fro previous years. Met Stephen Craigan a wee while back. Total gentleman. Saw Jim Gannon in Asda Hamilton a few weeks ago and said hello. Had a brief chat about Yassin. JG certainly comes across as an approachable friendly guy as well. Never met Mark McGhee, and he could have been the nicest chap in the world, but I'm not sure he is one I would have walked up to have a wee chat with. Was in Arta last year when the team were in for their (I think) Xmas night out. Buzz and McGarry were a wee bit tipsy (ahem) but were extremely well behaved as far as footballers in nightclubs go. John Sutton seemed remarkably sober. Anytime I have spoken to McGarry he always comes across well. Briefly worked with Rab Shannon. Decent guy as well.

I suppose it depends how generous people were at the auction. Even if you got it for nothing as opposed to spending £60 at the shop for one, if someone bid £200 then.........well it is pretty obvious.

Quite surprised to type this but I wouldn't be shocked to see Slane go at all. The money AT HIS AGE would be enough to set him up for life. That itself would be quite tempting. Plus, whilst looking at te current Celtic team and the way things will go from now on he has got to feel confident about getting into the first team in the next few years. If Paddy McCourt can do it.........................
