Forgetting that after Hibs there isn't a game for two weeks.
-
Aye, be looking for a couple of red cards for the Hibs boys tomorrow
-
Say it? I cannae even read it. Edit: Retype eh?

Just announced on twitter the announcement will be made tomorrow. No doubt at all it will be positive. Now where do you all think the other £1.25m that they hope to raise through the Society will come from? I know therr will still be some waiting to commit but I think part of the strategy might be to ask people who have already subscribed to, gradually, take the step up to the next level. A thorough targeting of local businesses as well will no doubt be planned, if not already acted upon.

Again, you get the same amount of points for a 4-0 defeat as you do when you have been beaten 2-1 to a last minute toe poke (that's what it looked like to me from where I was sitting). The people who went to the bookies and put THEIR hard earned cash down on a Rangers victory called it right. I'd rather that wisnae the case but it is. I bet you one or two in the 'singing section' had money on a Rangers win today.....yet still sang and jumped about for large sections of the match supporting our team and were gutted that we lost how we did. See if a wee lift makes it easier......each to their own. I doubt they were whispering in Hateley's lug anytime we had a throw in that they had money on Rangers and that we were shite and hoped we didn't win. But you judge away.

To be fair I don't think people (myself included within that majority) actually saw a defeat coming in the 89th minute. A defeat sure....but not in that exact manner.
-
This is a wink emoticon Sometimes used in a 'tongue in cheek' or 'jokey' manner. Pick up a soft drink or take big deep breaths.
-
What if said supporter put £100 on a Rangers win and then buys a season ticket for next year with his winnings? Things just aren't black and white.
-
Rage post.
-
Aye, but even the Faroe Islands keeper's an International

We are all well aware of the difference in financial situations. St Mirren, Killie, Dundee United, Aberdeen, Hearts, St Johnstone, and FALKIRK have either beaten Rangers this season or left Ibrox with a share of the spoils. I think people have a right to look at this one particular fixture and analyse why we have been unable to beat this lot in ten years or take a point off them, to date, this season when they ARE at their weakest.
-
Fair play. I thought by calling Motherwell fans "embarrassing" you were having a dig at those that took advantage of a bookie's ballsup. Enjoy your winnings and hope it takes the edge aff a crap result.
-
Riordian won't be fit to play for a good few weeks yet so they are hoping he will come good when he is required at the end. Second place has long gone now especially as we have to visit Ibrox post split. We could still finish anywhere between 3rd-5th and with Rangers out of Europe the Europa League would beckon (at the worst).
-
Thought we might have heard a wee announcement about this just before kick off. Could have been a nice lift for the crowd and a cheeky wee dig at our opposition. Possible that a wee bit of red tape still to be cut through right enough.
-
10 years of bad results, anti social behaviour from their fans on their way to and from the ground, listening to their bile (sectarian songs heaving out from the South again today), having to sit in amongst them (on occasion) in our home end and *just* outnumbering them to the point it almost feels like a match at a neutral/away venue. Add to that the match is £25 usually on a Saturday or Sunday lunchtime AND live on the TV. Some the Club can deal with, others are a bit of a nightmare and very hard to get a handle on. Missed the announcement for the attendance. 55/45 split in favour of home fans?
-
Aff yer high horse. Accepting defeat? More believeing we would be beat due to 10 years of shite scorelines and the fact the bookies made an arse of it with their odds. They, at the end of the day got it right and I have no problem with it to be honest as I understand why it was done......to take the edge of a very disappointing day. Who knows the cash may go towards a season ticket or to flights for a European game.

Rangers were, by the standards we have came to expect when they face us, poor. Took the lead and then defended poorly. 1-1. McGregor kept them in it, which is so often the case, and wasn't surprised to see a defensive switch off for their winner. Clancy is waaaaay to quick to lose the rag. Cost us against Celtic at Fir Park and he was very lucky to stay on the park again. I'd certainly be looking at the market and what I could get for my money before signing him up again. I suppose that depends on what he is on/looking over the next year or two. We could get better. We need St Johnstone to get beat and hope that Dunfermline take a point (at least) in Dundee. 5th place still a strong possibility especially when you consider we have six games left and one is a trip to Ibrox (defeat).
-
No Rangers fans in the NW corner today so, fair's fair, zero problems experienced by myself and dare I say anyone else in this area of the POD Stand.
-
Sally scores the winner? *cough*fix*cough*
-
Rangers will pack out both ends of the POD Stand as usual. This is to accomodate those that don't want to sit near them. POD ST holders are being left with a sit with them or take up a lesser priced seat option but if the Club are selling them tickets to the home end options are limited.
-
Playing in the legends match is he?
-
It should happen at every game their fans travel to due to the size of their support.....however as I said even that doesn't solve the problem within the POD Stand. Just need to see what is put in place tomorrow, whether their fans buy up the Centre section, the efficiency (or lack of) of Stewards at kiosks/toilets and dare I suggest, how the game pans out itself.
-
You are going to have 'rival' fans meeting on the street after the game the length and breadth of the country. Difficult to manage but thebest solution is to hold away fans back. Like they could do in the Cooper and South with no other issues. Now they could do this when they are in the Main Stand but that doesn't solve the other issues.
