    Ojamaa

Club have played a blinder here. Talk on the radio earlier was of a few Clubs sniffing around him before we got him. I have been more than impressed by his skill, workrate, and attitude. 'Mon the pistols!
  2. Does he watch the FULL six matches over the course of a few days or tune in to a highlights package and make up his mind? Hmmm. Good work if you can get it eh?
  3. How does this explain Crags? 'Offer' of a one game ban is ridiculous.
  4. Has Griffiths been offered yet another ban for giving the fans the middle digit on Saturday? No way THAT can be explained away. If not then this is an even bigger joke.
  5. They may be pros, doing a job we would all have loved to have done, and earning a pretty good wage as well...............but they are no different to any of us. Doesn't matter who you are if you are getting slated week in, week out, by people who are meant to be with you then sooner or later you are going to snap back. No way this would have happened if all the fans had been behind him and he hadn't been getting it tight for months. However, I missed this at the game and only saw it on the highlights and I'm not convinced it is a negative gesture towards the fans. In that respect, and if the Club/Higdon say it wasn't intended this way, then the decision to ban him for a game is a joke in my opinion and I worry where our game is heading. I can honestly say as well that I didn't see Higdon 'snub' the fans at the final whistle. As pointed out Crags has a similar celebration when he scores (for us) and when we win on the road.
  6. Could be missing the game against St Johnstone. That would be a major blow.
  7. Folks, if I can just add one more thing to the excellent posts made on this thread so far. I'm aware that Michael Higdon heard some verbal abuse which was directed personally to him before the match actually STARTED on Saturday. Think about that for a minute. I, along with many on here will have no idea how these individuals think this kind of treatment is meant to build confidence or help a player during a match. Sadly, this also filters through to the rest of the guys on the park. Tonight we need to get 100% behind the team and OUR number 9 from the start. During the warmup, when the teams come out, during the match.......even if we go behind. Drown out the negativity and lets see how the team perform with the crowd SUPPORTING them.
  8. Yes and no. Humphrey could and maybe should have got a run out at Tannadice on Saturday but I would suggest his exclusion was more to do with perceived form loss than fear of losing him in the January transfer window. If a Club want him then they could get him regardless of whether he is playing or not.
  9. Cracking posts from joewarkfanclub and Jay. Spot on.
  10. Could be worse if it is in place for Saturday.
  11. McCall not playing Humphrey due to the January transfer window? Yet Randolph and Jennings are playing? Mental.
  12. It's a great shot he has. On that score I'd rather have him shooting from 20 yards than just about anyone else. If that's all he offers though can you play him at the expense of the CM we currently have? In my opinion, no.
  13. Don't forget a draw will put us clear in third and level on games with St Johnstone and still one less game played than Hearts. A win is very important especially as we should be looking to beat the team that will hopefully finish in 11th place but I'm not of the opinion that one point would be disastrous. I'd rather win next Saturday but obviously maximum points from the next two games would be tremendous.
  14. I think either way the home support needs to be patient on Tuesday. If it is 0-0 with 10 or so minutes to go we really need to get behind the players. I just think, and I hope I'm wrong, that if we go behind or lose a lead the atmosphere will turn very negative.
  15. Daley was surprisingly woeful today. I'd leave him out and start Ojamaa. 4-4-2 is a must for this one. 2-1 Motherwell win (please!).

    Dundee Utd

Randolph was solid, Higdon played well, but Ojamaa turned a defeat into a draw for us. Should have been awarded a penalty as well.
  17. He might have already done just that. Seriously.
  18. Finlay

    Randolph

Good to hear. He was excellent again today.
  19. Ojamaa changed the game for us. A MUST start for Tuesday. Happy with a point. Glad Hearts lost but obviously disapointed Hibs couldn't take anything in their game. Tuesday is a big chance for both teams. We win and we are clear in third again. Dunfermline win and Hibs are bottom of the league.
  20. If we win two and draw one of the three games we play this week he will be a hero again.
  21. Finlay

    Randolph

Bigger Club, more money, and a chance to win trophies and enhance his reputation at International level. The only reasons I could see him leaving this window. Obviously for us we would be due a nice wedge of cash. Even if he leaves in the Summer it will probably turn out to very beneficial for us financially.
  22. Or pretend that no one can see them. That is an insult lower than being made to train with any youth team. Mancini and co might go with this one if Tevez ever ends up back at City.
  23. An emergency loan deal I'd guess. Pretty sure I read that Hollis is nearly back to full fitness though.
  24. Not sure the point you are making about Hollis. We can only play one keeper at a time and no way is Randolph being dropped.
  25. He brought in Henrik. We are one player up at this stage.
