  1. Get beat and we still have a great chance at 3rd. Win and we could still finish outside the European places. WAY too much fitba to be played this season to put so much importance on things at this stage.
  2. Dip in form has been there for a while. The run of bad results hasn't happened. Yet. There is a slight niggle they might be on the way though. Team performance MUST improve.
  3. Tam Cowan briefly mentioning the possibilty of us letting Hibs score from kick off in the rearranged fixture. We bloddy better not
  4. How good is Jennings looking right enough? If we get both him and Law firing on all cylinders at the same time there could be a bit if damage done.
  5. Aye, we were only going to lose that imo. Hibs will be raging. No luck for them whatsoever. In saying that it WILL be the full 90 back to 0-0 won't it? Imagine we got stuffed with a 45 munute game at 0-1. Raging wouldnae be the word.
  6. Murder so far. Form since Dun Utd away hasn't been tge best. A lot of points since then have been welcome but not always well deserved. We need to find some good form, specifically at home, soon.
  7. Bonus that it is dry at least. Obviously hoping we pick up the three points (and Hearts and St Johnstone draw the following day) but I can see this being a 2-2 draw. Higdon with both.
  8. Nicky Law wore the number 10 shirt against Partick Thistle and Leeds Utd.
  9. Was that not in a 4-0 defeat away to QOS?
  10. Poor game but a lot of that was down to the weather. That's the crappy weather for the football here then. It was warmer at Aberdeen last week!! Still another point on the board but I would rather have not seen Hearts and St Johnstone both winning. I still think the Hibs game on Friday will be a hard game.
  11. I seen Bob Wilson (Anchorman) mention this as well. It needs to make an appearance down the away end of the East Stand on Saturday. As for the game possibly bring in Humphrey for Daley and leave the rest. Murphy not playing well but I'm not sure we have many more options. Hopefully Bob is back fit again soon. We haven't played well recently. For quite a good few games actually. Yet we still keep getting the results. A draw wouldn't be a disaster mind you so I'm going for a 1-1 draw with Law scoring for us. Hopefully we get to see more Gavin Gunning hissy fits right enough.
  12. I'd rather Elgin beat Queens Park (as I've never seen them play) but I wouldn't fancy a replay.
  13. Which show? Keys and Gray or Hawksbee and Jacobs? Should be on their website later then.
  14. Would have been nice to head up to Elgin (although unlikely that the game would take place at the first attempt) or start our campaign at Hampden but I'm very happy with a home draw against lower league opposition. I take it QP and Elgin drew at the weekend. Any idea when they are playing again? EDIT: Queens Park vs Elgin is this Saturday.
  15. Any of the rumours on this site ever came to anything?
  16. I'm not certain but I'd wager the Aberdeen fans would be pretty p'd aff going back to us for a third time regardless of how well McCall is doing. They coukdn't afford him anyway as SM still has 18 months of his contract to run.
  17. Cheers guys. Major difference appears to be that 9-0 pumping at the hands of Celtic. That was one of the main reasons why their goals against column was so bad this time last season. Brown is getting regularly beat but Aberdeen aren't getting thumped by anybody.
  18. Be interesting to see what points and league position the Dandy Dons were in this time last year. This was the time when McGhee was getting it very tight before, IIRC, getting the bullet on the 1st Dec. Brown has been at the helm for a year more or less. Progress? I can't see it. McCall in the other hand has pretty much played a blinder all this season as well as a Cup Final and a top six finish in the last campaign. I'm grateful for what Brown did at his time with us but glad we were able to kick on from the style of football that he had/would have continued to have us playing.
  19. Indeed. Looking forward to seeing it.
  20. I remember that 2-0 defeat well. Thoroughly miserable performance and horrid drive back down the road. My main memory is Paul Quinn giving away a penalty and getting sent off for a push in the box. Although if I'd known then how we would own them over the next three years I'm sure the result would have been a lot easier to take
