    Next Six Games.

Next six games could go any way. Next two games at home are pretty big and I'm not looking past those to be honest. Not complaining for a second but it would be grand to go into the last 10 or 15 minutes of a game 2 or even 3 goals up. These 'winning by a single goal' games are great but pretty nerve wracking to watch

    Aberdeen

Steve Jennings. Bottles out of nothing.
  3. He's a handful for any defender. Very physical and I must admit I'm liking that part of his game for us. The fact he scored yet again doesn't hurt either
  4. Over. The. Moon. Champions of Aberdeen. What a hold we have over them at the moment. Memory serves me right they haven't beaten us in 3 years. Four wins out of four whilst wearing our silver kit as well.
  5. Right looking forward to this. Fingers crossed obviously but nothing is as good (in footballing terms) as taking points aff Aberdeen. A point would be good, three points and I'm over the moon. Another win over them today and we should take their ECWC replica trophy off them until they can beat us for it.
  6. Part of it.....but IIRC it was his slowness that got him the yellow card in the first place. Which is the point I am trying to make.
  7. That would suggest Forbes has been unable to learn from Jennings and Lasley (and Law) and whilst different players I'm not convinced Hughes is head and shoulders above our current CM. Forbes is a gifted footballer but the SPL appears to be WAY to fast for him. He is only going to get slower so I think he could struggle to advance in his career. Again, I'd love him to prove me wrong.
  8. Yeah, I think Carswell is ahead of Forbes now. Never a good sign when up at Inverness, Forbes had to come on as a sub to cover in the centre after the back four was reorganised but was later substituted himself. Very talented but quite slow and I think that is why McCall doesn't fancy him. Like Fitzy, Forbes might need to move on for the sake of his own career.
  9. Carswell to start with Shug on the bench?
  10. At least three points? Too far apart in the league for a 'six pointer'!
  11. To be honest I thought that was a wee joke as 'he' appears in games every week up and down the country.
  12. A possible goalscorer in a win against St Mirren reserves today? Those with MFCTV will be able to confirm later.....
  13. Glad he is signing but I hoped it would be for a bit longer than 6-10 weeks. Always a chance it could get extended mind you.
  14. For me the best striker of the ball is easily Ross Forbes.
  15. If you up the prices in the South you need to do the same in the Cooper. Tickets would be at £27-£30. Not sure many away fans would touch that and the annoying thing is we need their money.
  16. Offically there will be a number but it won't be accurate. As I said there were a large amount of them in amongst the 'Well fans in the POD Stand as well.
  17. Delighted if suspensions are carried on to our game!
  18. £23 quid for an adult as well. In one of the poorest (view and open to the elements) stands as well. Poor show. We have a cracking record against them. Unbeaten since MM made that grave error of going up North. Not convinced they are as bad a they have been so I think it will be a very tight game. I think a draw would be a pretty decent result although we should be going all out for the win. 1-1 with Murphy getting our goal. Aberdeen game being cancelled tonight means they go three weeks without a competitive game. Hopefully that hinders them.
  19. Good point with regards to it getting dark. Plretty sure these ties are played to a finish so could run into 4pm when light *could* start being an issue.
  20. Not at all mate. McCall is no stranger to going on the park after a game. I quite like that and I have never had a problem with any manager or coach doing it. During the 90 mins though I think it is a bit arrogant. Bit different but does anyone remember the 0-5 pumping we got off Rangers last season and the celebrations on the Rangers bench when their fifth went in? I recall the bench going loopy and Neil Alexander jumping and straddling a member of the backroom staff. Celebrated like a last minute goal in a 0-1 win. Just totally OTT....but thats the OF for you. Very rarely gracious in defeat or victory and that is just their officials.
