Ach, cannae make it then. Was hoping for a 1pm kick off.

Agree partly with that. Players celebrating goals has never really bothered me. Part of the game (one of the best parts) and to use your example Craigan has a right to be on the pitch as he does it. I fail to see what Lennon is doing on the pitch as he seems to be on there at the drop of a hat. Celebrate it how he sees fit. It is his decision if he wants to be the centre of attention/controversy especially after last season but he should never cross that white line during the 90 mins, whether it being challenging a decision, celebrating a goal, or squaring up to an opposition player. As has been said before, smoke and mirrors to mask the fact he is just not cutting it.

By the same token though we all laughed when Stevie Hammell turned to the St Mirren fans and gave it the big 'roon yese' after Hateley's last minute winner at NSP. Rough with the smooth I'm afraid.

Not just either side. Mixed in the middle as well. Not shy at shouting their support either. I appreciate its difficult to prevent them buying tickets for the home section if the POD Stand on the day of the match when they are not wearing colours but they seem to be slowly taking over the whole stand. Home matches against the OF are starting to become not very enjoyable from where I'm sitting. What are the solutions though? Put them back in Cooper? Hardly popular the last time. Relocate myself? Certainly...but does devalue the cost of the POD season ticket. Only take Celtic fans in away end? Loss of revenue leaves it not an option. That pretty much leaves some fans just choosing to stay away and watch it at home or in their local.

Santheman, there will be a monetary reason why the Celtic fans have such a heavy presence in ALL areas of the POD Stand and I appreciate that as well but I do think something will end up kicking off if they take a sore defeat. The irony is we are taking in more money from the OF but possibly less from our own fans. Might need to look into being relocated when they are next in town. I appreciate not everyone has the same option.

Helluva trek to walk out early doors at ICT.....and you missed one of the best endings to a game this season.. Individual choice and all that but seems a bit mad to me.

Brazilian, I'm certain he was on the park and I'll be honest in saying I don't notice what opposing teams managers do when their team score. I think that like McCall they are probably a bit low key and less attenion seeking and dare I say a wee bit mire respectful. Lennon is an attention whore and wants the camera on himself all the time.
-
Brazilian, I don't think anyone is being 'precious'. I think it needs addressed how often Lennon ends up on the park questioning officials, squaring up to players, and now celebrating goals. It must be every other game. Underscores the arrogance of everyobe connected to that Club that think they can do what they want, when they want, but pull out the victim card amytime they are challenged. Again, if it was just being the panto villian fair doos. We know there is more to it than that though. Bad loser, massive chip on his shoulder, wildly out of his depth, pandering to a bigoted, imbecile, support.

Ah......got me big guy

Whit?

Very true. He was 11 minutes from being out a job today. He knows it and more importantly he knows it is still coming. I will be delighted to see the back of him.
-
From what I seen at the game (and he was pretty much in front of me) he walked onto the park, turned round to face the Well 'section' of the POD Stand raised his arms to each side and gave it the 1000 yard stare. Arrogance and lack of self awareness ripping out of him. Aye, play the panto villian but when it is putting you and your family's safety at risk you need to question what he has between his lugs. I'm more annoyed that Clancy will miss games against Aberdeen (A), Dundee Utd (H), and Hibs (H). Better get some bubble wrap round Hutch and Crags cause if one of them get injured we have a problem.
-
Wrong already, David
-
It won't be enough.

Can't comment on that as such but the 'shared' facilities in the POD Stand is without question not working. A disaster waiting to happen. Slowly turning home fans away from sitting in their own Main Stand. The arrogance of their fans is astounding.....although by Lennon's reaction to their second goal today it is clear he is leading by example.
-
This thread is just going to go back and forth all season and probably ultimately prove little. I'm not sure what he will need to do to convince those that don't rate him he is a decent player.
-
Should be eddie. I'd imagine some Celtic fans will be trying to buy tickets tomorrow morning as well.
-
That's the process I've heard as well. Get up there pretty early and they will see you ok.
-
Every one of them would cot another Club money apart from Craigan though (I think). Lasley is currently enjoying his best ever run and Jennings will always be gone as soon as soon as his situation is cleared. Difficult to get a right good standard in winter transfer window. I'd be happy bolstering the squad with Hughes and a striker (loan deal) in January with none out....in an ideal world.
-
Lasley was questioned about Hughes on BBC Scotland last night. Starting to sound a wee bit positive even if it is only a short term deal. Sign him up till May!!

The way I now see it even a defeat tomorrow would see us joint second place (admittedly having played a game more) going into the THIRD international break of the season. Even the 'worse case scenario' for tomorrow leaves us with a fantastic achievement. One or three points would also be amazing right enough and would be the final straw in getting NL the boot.

Doubt it will be at Fir Park now then. Shame.
