  1. I thought Mark Benstead was involved. Might be wrong though.

    Jennings Today

Not one chant towards him from the home support either. I think that kind of shows you how scunnered and disinterested their fans are at the moment.

Law but at the same time everyone was solid. Again I was impressed with Daley when he came off the bench.
  4. Three City teams we have played and beat in succession. Don't suppose that happens often.
  5. He's going to get slaughtered by the Hibs fans (and every other set of fans until this is resolved) so hopefully he is prepared for that. No other thing for it than giving it the deaf ear. I

    Faddy

I'm very 'meh' about the whole thing. Football is a business for those that are on the inside of it and the only loyalty these people have is to themselves, their families, and their bank accounts. No different from any other industry in all honesty. 'Loyalty' only occurs when the aforementioned scenario allows a player to reside at or re-sign with a specific Club. No doubt he will continue to have a 'soft spot' for us......but I was never convinced this day wouldn't come. Maybe it is just me but Faddy's spell with us just seems like a very long time ago now. He'll be treated like any other opposition player on his return.
  7. I can think of two. 2-0 when Gannon refused to talk to the press after the match and 2-1 when Saunders had a perfectly goid goal chalked off.

    Dundee Utd

Not his best spell but was it not his breakaway and work with Law that led to the penalty on Saturday? No doubt he will rip someone to shreds very soon.
  9. Spot on. Very dependable and has been solid pretty much all season. Can't recall an injury or suspension in his time at Motherwell.....hope I haven't jinxed him. The fact he can play in a couple of positions means he is a cracking asset to the team. What was the deal with Hateley and Accies? Did they not have the cash or were they just not interested? Either way he has been a cracking signing for us and he could be another one we benefit from financially.
  10. I'd certainly raise it with the relevant people at Motherwell and ask for their input/advise before sending the letter. Things might be 'resolved' or better answers provided through an official channel.
  11. This IS true but he certainly has one or two 'raspers' in him this season I think. Still to score with a heider as well. Plenty to come. 15+ for the season if he stays injury free.
  12. Interesting if thats the case. Drop Clancy when he has had a good couple of games and throw Shaun straight back in? Crags is a certainty to keep his place. Good 'problem' to have right enough.
  13. "McCall joked that the 32-year old’s form was down to him showing Keith his ‘Two Greatest Goals’ DVD, before praising the fluency of his opener, and the subsequent team effort to see out the result."
  14. We were rampant. The whole team were superb. Pernis' gaff is the receipt for John Ruddy's howler at Tannadice in 2009. A leveller that I took much comfort from Away end was pretty quiet today and now I know why. If the people responsible for bringing a drum, flags, banners etc. into the ground have the common courtesy and maturity to contact the Club they are visiting BEFORE the game to gain permission and iron out any difficulties with their staff, yet STILL get refused entry after they appear to be given the thumbs up, I'm not sure what they are doing up in Dundee. Very disappointing to hear.

    Dundee Utd

Whole team was excellent but I'm going for Hateley who has been pretty much solid since the opening day.
  16. Good read and totally spot on.
  17. Also agreed. What concerns me though is that to look back on things fondly kind of suggests not being at that previous level at that specific time. When our time comes for an 'Aberdeen season' I think some will likely explode with rage and hatred.
  18. Am I right in thinking Aberdeen haven't beaten us since we lost 2-0 at Pittodrie in December 2008?
  19. The debut of the Silver away kit. Think McCall will go with the same starting line up as today but I'd pick Bob McHugh ahead of Jamie Murphy. Would be happy with a point from this. Dundee United aren't the best at the moment so there could be a few goals in it. 2-2 draw (Law and Higdon).

    Aberdeen

I thought Hateley and Humphrey were good today but I'm going to go with McHugh for winning the game from a nothing situation.
  21. He's not shy at having a dig back. Quite right as well. 3rd in the league after a Cup Final last season. Without doubt a very difficult 'support' to please.
