  1. Sure I can see the unhealthy food angle and the contradictory elements involved in their participation......but moaning 'cause they threw support behind England in major Championships? Seems a bit petty to me.
  2. Even if it is explain how it should make a difference in them getting involved in football in local communities.

    Brian Mclean

Already being discussed in Transfer thread bud.
  4. According to TalkSport yesterday some Arsenal tickets are as much as £100. Must be more than a seat for the game though.
  5. Can't complain with that. I got the away draw I was looking for. Aberdeen oot early doors? Few 'local derbies' I see as well.
  6. .....plus who cares if the OF aren't in it.
  7. Livi away is a tie that could see us out. I would still fancy us but stranger things have happened. Stenny at home could be a good run out for the team and maybe get a few players on the scoresheet.
  8. Midfielder is he not? Wouldn't think that area was a top priority.
  9. With JJ and BB oot the door I'll admit to being a wee bit more confident. Time will tell.
  10. League positioning but aye yer question still stands.
  11. Trouble with that is it's about an 18,000 capacity and there was less than 5,000 (which isn't far off the norm) in it yesterday. Looks ridiculous at times. Design isn't the worst I'll give you that.
  12. Don't think we can draw Accies, Aberdeen, Hibs, St Johnstone, St Mirren, ICT, Dunfermline, Raith, QOS, or Dundee/maybe Falkirk (given I have the top four from memory correct from the First Division last season).
  13. That run of games also includes the time they were beating us 3-0 at home and couldn't get the job done. Sutts 2nd and our 3rd that day was top drawer. I would take a draw right now. Have the fear about this one and as I can see Higdon scoring his first at NSP the following week, I think Sutts will score his first competitve goal for Hearts at FP. Fingers crossed we take something from what will be a very difficult fixture......so going for a 1-1.
  14. Aye, but another way of looking at that is most of our goals in the SPL have been whilst Higdon has been on the park. Too early for those kind of stats though.
  15. Draw is in afternoon and not morning as I put in first post. 1pm is when it takes place.
  16. Pretty sure we are in the 2nd Round draw this Tuesday morning. Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Dundee United, and, Killie get a bye to round 3. So that leaves Motherwell, ICT, St Johnstone, St Mirren, Aberdeen, Accies, and Hibs, in amongst the winners from Round 1 namely, Airdrie, East Fife, Morton, Clyde, Dunfermline, Falkirk, QOS, Ross County, Livingston, Raith Rovers, Dundee, Stenhousemuir, Ayr, Berwick, and, Forfar. I'd expect SPL teams (7) and First Division teams (top 4) to be seeded. I think that is how it works but I could be VERY wrong. So who do you fancy getting paired with? As the games are midweek fixtures (23rd or 24th August) Ross County away wouldn't be ideal. For me it would, solely on our chances of getting to Round 3, be; Away - Clyde. Home - Stenhousemuir.
  17. So when we are just about watching three times rescheduled games in -8, when the pitches are cut up to buggery, we will be watching the peak of this season's fitba 'cause the players won't have to worry about the lack of or even too much "zip" from the perfect pitches they had to suffer in the summer? I'm amazed Messi is even able to trap a moving ball in the searing heat of the Nou Camp given that it is pitches that make the differnce and not skill or natural ability.

    Kilmarnock

    Randolph for me.
  19. He'll need two. He needs to bring one in even if we don't sell Murphy.
  20. If he had toes on his heels he would have been MOTM
  21. On bus the majority of the time. Car if we are making an overnighter of it (ICT).
  22. It is. Good weather and a nice bit of optimism around the team. The fact both teams like to play decent fitba didn't hurt either.
  23. Aye, all joking aside that is what it is. A good point for both. A point away from home is always welcome (especially with Higdon out) and KIllie have a team that is almost brand new. I'm sure their manager will come good but he needs that win. I'm glad he won't be getting it against us.
  24. MUCH louder today. Great effort by the guys down the front. 892 away fans apparently. Killie fans were playing each other at Chess or reading. Only reason I can think of for stadium wide silence.
  25. That is a massive blow. Smith and Murphy to start? Maybe chuck Forbes in centre and go 4-5-1?
