  1. Had a look at it today. It does look cracking but doubt I would buy it.
  2. Another knockback for auld Craigie? Ideal. Hughes would have done them a turn no doubt.
  3. If he is unhappy then obviously coming back home (SPL) would be the best for him. If not and he is keen to make a go of it in England his agent should be getting him a loan move away from Weds to the kind of team I posted above before the start of the season. Don't agree that it would be a step back for us, Crosshill but I'm not convinced that it would be best for Mark. I no one wants him down South then thay is obviously another story.
  4. Can understand McCall's thought process on this (and I do think it would be good for us) but if I was Reynolds I'm honestly not sure if I would come back. Sure he is coming back to what he knows but that is what should put him off. I'd be looking for another fresh challenge such as a lower League 1 or promotion chasing League 2 side on loan.
  5. McCall comes across very well anytime he appears in front of the media in my opinion. His anecdotes about meeting Tessa Sanderson and The Queen were quite good.
  6. No' be signing anybody ever again then Sure, I get your point on the McCall/Cooper of this world compared to Lennon/Malcolm. For me Novo would be as likely to go to back to Rangers as he would be anyone else in Scotland. If we even had a chance of getting him (we don't though) then I would have him in a minute. I would live with that 'certain attitude' if he was doing the business for Motherwell on the park.
  7. Davie Cooper? Stuart McCall? Whilst I don't doubt your story shouldn't we treat every player and situation differently or should we be as short sighted as those OF fans we criticise and lump everybody in as 'another Bob Malcolm'?
  8. Mark McGhee, Scott Leitch, Colin Meldrum, Craig Brown, Archie Knox, and Nick Blackman. Tried to lure away Jim O'Brien and Steve Jennings to zero success and are now, apparently, sniffing about Gavin Gunning. This will more than likely not be a definitive list as there were rumours they were keen on Craigan/Reynolds as well. They must have piles of Motherwell DVDs up in Pittodrie. Only made fuunier by the fact that in Scotland (well maybe not Knox ) we got the best out of every single one of the above.

For me, zero. There would be a raft of Championship teams that would be more than happy to have him in their squad. I can see him finishing his career with us though. Was he released by Birmingham or was that nonsense?
  10. Would never have thought in January that Jennings would have been a Motherwell player come July. I honestly thought we had a better chance of keeping John Sutton. Disappointed it is just a one year deal again but glad we aren't losing a player of his quality.
  11. I would take him at Fir Park as well. Not exactly likeable but if he was banging them in that would be alright with me. Brown turning down Novo because he doesn't think the fans would approve? Don't believe that for a second.
  12. In terms of the length of preseason I think it is the opposite. Cup Final seems not that long ago to me and it feels weird that the players are back in training tomorrow.
  13. Is that true though? Could be similar to last years where there was just a seperation down the sides.
  14. Oz, reminds me of a few to be honest. Don't agree witg the poster thatt thinks it looks like the 'Zoom' rotter right enough. The whole kit reminds me of the Canterbury effort.
  15. Possible. I'm not sure who they would be interested in though that we could afford to lose. I know many will say Ross Forbes, but could be Bob McHugh plus some of Erskine's wages getting paid.
  16. Contracted until May 2013 apparently.
  17. Could be the same as last season.
  18. Colours, to me anyway, look the exact same this year as they did last year. I can understand different kit suppliers having different shades but it would seem a bit odd if PUMA buggered up our colours on their second design.
  19. Eh? Noticed that myself. Does look a little odd to me. Would have preferred the Claret shorts myself. Overall kit reminds me of the Canterbury one and that is my favourite of recent times. In saying that I think the top is a belter. Better than last years. Edit: As for the away, this was in their 'email launch'; The new PUMA 2011/2012 away kit will be showcased in the next few weeks with an early August release.
  20. Would expect this to be a tenner to get as many in as possible. Hopefully, Thistle fans get behind it as well.
  21. Nice one. Hopefully he will get a really good turn out. Can't be too long before we are talking about the same kind of thing for the guy that broke the news.
  22. Hopefully another lower league away game will be arranged for Sat 2nd July now.
  23. that is all you need to say on the subject!!
  24. Depends on colour I suppose. Purple, black, red, green, blue, I don't mind. Just tell me it's no' pink!!!!
