Very true. Obvious from the start, especially when you saw how out of shape some players were (St Mirren and Sunderland mainly) and how serious Rangers appeared to take it, that they were going to win it. Didn't disgrace ourselves that's for sure.
That's the kind of flippant attitude you get from having been spoiled rotten with good goalkeeping for the last two years. You need a wee dose of 'heart in your mouth' Buzz goalkeeping every time a cross came into the box.......and I thought Buzz was a good keeper.
Slightly off topic but always thought what was the point of having a Darts game for one of the consoles? Subbuteo would probably go into that category for me as well.
Spot on. I hope your at the old 'leg pull' Motherwell89 as in the space of a day you have talked up Casagolda and talked down Randolph. If your not then God help ye
Just noticed that Dundee United have their first preseason friendly lined up against Drogheada United away on 26th June!!! Two weeks tomorrow. Not wasting time there. Aberdeen have also lined up Brechin City for the 30th June. In a way it seems like the season hasn't long ended.
Wouldn't be surprised to see a game or two added before the Dumbarton match as we seem to have one of the later preseason match starts. Either that or there will be a few 'closed door' matches pre Dumbarton.
Edit:....and Hibs have Blackpool away for the second year on the bounce. Jammy sods.
Think your right. So we scored ten each. Still, Rangers don't have an impressive forward line in my opinion but they still scudded about 23 goals past us last season. There's stats for ye.
He was utterly, utterly, rank rotten. Garbage. Glad to see McCall released a guy Brown should never have signed. Seemed a decent guy but he just isnt good enough. Best of luck to him at whichever club he ends up at though.
Future looks promising on quite a few fronts. The membership scheme described in the article and the trend in the last year or so of committing our best young players to longer contracts is very sensible abd I hope we reap the benefits from this hard work.
Keep your eyes peeled on the Express tomorrow (don't buy it ) everyone's fave message board reader claiming McCall discusses his "summer of frustration in the transer market" tomorrow.
It's the 6th of June. Our season only finished just over two weeks ago. Some summer of frustration.
