Good shout. Mixed feelings about a goalie going up for a corner. The anticpation is usually sky high as you would love nothing better than to see your keeper stick one in the opposition's net. On the other hand you know he is up there 'cause you are getting beat. When required I'd have them do it again.
The speed of Humphrey after it was nothing short of freakish. Couldnae believe he caught him.
Someone in this thread mentioned Ross County vs Celtic in the Scottish Cup last season. Can't believe I forgot that. That was the point the hope and belief started to grow in me as well. Don't know who it was but I'm holding them directly responsible if I'm heartbroken on Sunday night
I'm a bit of a realist. I hear you what you are saying but I think some of the pessimism, amongst many others, could be down to the two games we have already played them this season.
Rangers 4 Motherwell 1
Motherwell 1 Rangers 4
...........and our team has got a helluva lot weaker since then.
Wasn't the worst when he came on last night as well. Can't help feeling *we* are all missing something though. There simply MUST be a reason three different managers this season have not played him for any more than 15 minutes at a time.
How bout this.......don't sign anyone this window and all the money we have saved on Reynolds, Fitzy, Gow, and Blackman goes in a high interest account till July to splash out on a better standard of player in the summer?
With all due respect David this is a thread that, if needed......hopefully not, should not be seen for another 12-18 months. The guy needs time and certainly shouldn't be judged till we see how he performs in the summer transfer window.
Agreed. Going along and will give my support.......but I think defeat, whether it is a flukey 1-0 or another 4-1 pasting, will be way to hard to avoid.
