  1. Alan Gow is apparently away to Notts County on a 6 month loan deal. Craig Brown didn't even want him.
  2. Certainly appears to be the case. Had a few really good performances this season and set up a number of goals early on.......but hasn't had the same impact since his display at Tynecastle, and that was about 15 games ago. If we had another option he would be getting used from the bench right now.
  3. Aye but that doesn't explain Goodwillie sauntering untracked through the middle. Poor defending.
  4. Cheers Davie. Certainly those in the POD Stand are going to well entertained as he is pretty much on the park shouting instructions for the full 90. Worryingly though I'd hoped SM had sussed Hateley was a better RB than Saunders.
  5. Just watched the highlights......the defending for the second goal is painful to watch For those at the game did McCall have a wee to and fro with a fan near the end of the game? I certainly heard someone shout to him that he had to make changes and I'm pretty sure he responded but couldn't tell you exactly what was said.
  6. Trust me it only happened 'cause we were, at that point in the game, winning comfortably. It stopped when they pulled one back. For those very reasons I'm hoping the East Stand serenade Big Tel for just about the full on 90 minutes
  7. In you come McDermott. You'll do!!!!
  8. Ross County in the summer. They are on a side bet with Aberdeen to see who can snaffle the most from us. Cardiff withdrew from the race.
  9. I think one will be appointed next month in an effort to save some cash for the transfer window.
  10. No he isn't. Contract expires in the summer.
  11. How long does Forbes have on his contract? Can't recall him signing an extension like Saunders and Murphy did recently.
  12. Not that I saw COF. I saw a guy struggling for air very quickly into the match, getting closed down early, and putting his defence under pressure as the game progressed. I have nothing else to go on other than the fact he was hooked first to think McCall might have seen something similar to myself.
  13. I think we will see a 4-4-2 similar to the game versus Dundee except Forbes will replace Fitzy. The squad is so low on numbers we are very limited to making any changes at the moment. I think McCall will stick with experience. 3 games in and he has experienced 3 different results. First game at Fir Park as boss and we will all be expecting a performance. ICT have not been on the best run themselves......as good a time as any to get them. 1-0 Motherwell (Sutton).
  14. Trust me you would be surprised at how little they are on.
  15. We could be doing with a similar initiative for next season. Cracking idea.
  16. Club shop has something *kind of* similar to that just now. All white rugby top with the crest rather than MFC. Either way if we don't have this petrol blue number I'll not be happy. Newcastle even piloted it for us this season
  17. Good point. Possibly all these pitch repairs beginning to have a bit more of a noticeable effect on us.
  18. Maybe Forbes would be better suited to another (slower) league because you can have all the ability needed for this league but if you are visibly toiling after 10 minutes, unable to run with the ball due to lack of pace/speed, and look to get rid of he ball asap because of this weakness, even at times putting your defense under pressure, you aren't going to cut it. IF the lad's main weaknesses (fitness/speed) could be worked on I would say stick with him as he has the foundations of a decent player. The fact he IS so slow means he is at times a liability. No amount of coaching is going to help this problem though. He is as slow and knackered as he was at the start of last season. He is not a Paddy McCourt where he can disappear behind 'quality' players playing 'inferior' opposition for most of the match then pop up with a goal of the month candidate and be a hero. We need 11 at their best pretty much at all times. Whilst he has the foot he doesn't appear to have the genetics. A shame without a doubt. If he did right enough I'm pretty sure he would be away already.
  19. I detect an attempt at jest but this might not be far from the truth. Certainly could be an incentive for some. Depends on what is being shown. If all away games are streamed live I could see a good deal of people lining up to subscribe. Not sure if this is allowed right enough. If it is interviews/old games I'm not sure how successful it would be. Be interesting to see what Aberdeen/Dun Utd show, how many subscribers they have, and how much they charge. Good idea for overseas fans though.
  20. Just incase I am missing something are we talking subscription as in £5/£10 per month?
  21. Still got potentially Reynolds, Craigan, Sutton, and Jennings to go. Tell ye if you have a decent BMI and a pair of boots turn up at Fir Park on Saturday and at the very least you could get a place on the bench.
  22. Aye, so much for "if he came back to Scotland it would only be to us". We have taken a good hit, as a club, since mid Decembet. Very, very, few positives recently and as I have said before where is the incentive for new people/casual fans to bd attracted to the vlub when they see the actions of Brown and Knox, Blackman going to Aberdeen, the appointment of a less than successful League 2 manager, losing players to Non league sides in England, and Ross County being a more attractive option. All that in the last four weeks.
