Not just about that though. For me two things need to be taken into consideration. 1. Will he ever be a first choice pick for us over a sustained period of time? 2. What 'damage' is Marc doing to his own career by staying with us? Okay he has had his injury problems but even when he has been fit and healthy he hasn't had much game time.

Just a wee problem with that right enough Buckie Thistle/East Sirling, Threave Rovers/Stenhousemuir, Morton/Airdrie, QOS/Brechin or Partick if they beat Falkirk, Montrose if they beat Dunfermline. Any of them at home and I'd fancy us for the Quarter Finals.

I suppose it all depends on what he is on. I'd imagine if he was on, or looking for big wages, then he'd be on his way. The fact he is staying says to me Marc isn't on the best of wages and he isn't greedy. Can't help feeling at this stage it could be beneficial for both parties if Marc left right enough. I would have thought a good number of First Division sides would be more than interested.

Jennings will be in the Championship next year. Of that I have no doubt.

U19 job pretty secure. Assistant Manager's job not so much. Regardless anyone else think the longer we go without a number 2 the more money we are saving that could be invested elsewhere? Wouldn't be surprised to see a number 2 appointed at the start of Feb.

As I've said before Sutton is a very good SPL striker. He has, in the past, found it difficult to settle at clubs but has done well with us. Bit slow for tbe Championship imo, and given he is 26 I don't see that area of his game improving. For me SPL/League 1 is his level and we should be doing what we can to keep him.

As for the next round it has got to be the winner of the Stenhousemuir vs Threave Rovers match. Draw at 230pm on Tuesday.

Great performance and some really good football today. Cracking result and more money in the bank. On a side note I don't know if the cameras picked up Griffiths chuckle to the 'Well fans as he walked off the park following his red card. I'd wager it is that kind of attitude that might stunt his progress in the game. Good player on his day but an utter arse.
