    Dundee Game

Brown's first real game in charge was the 3-0 win at Killie.

    Chances? 50/50 I'd say.

Plus Dunfermline and Raith are playing for something. Lets be honest though whichever one of them goes up their home attendances will be gubbed again this time next year.
  4. Some of the stats aren't the best. Dundee haven't lost a game in the league since 25th September and haven't lost at Dens Park all season. Not conceeding many goals as of late either. Not much, if anything, between the two teams. Going to be a very difficult day.
  5. Time is not a luxury. It is new contract or punted. Punted please.
  6. Lowest position since the Malpas season for me........but still think we will finish in 8th, above Hibs, St Johnstone, St Mirren, and Accies and won't be anywhere near getting relegated. League Cup Semi exit and we will get punted in the 5th Round of the Scottish Cup to an SPL side.

I'd be delighted if Brown signed him. Utterly useless. An empty jersey for the vast majority of every match.
  8. If I'm honest I'd keep Blackman and say goodbye to Fitzy and Gow. Fitzy isn't a bad player but he hasn't been a regular for a long, long, time and I don't see it ever changing. Best for the lad to move on for his own development and we can use the money to try and get in a player who is more than just a squad man. Gow is utterly hopeless and I hope he isn't a Motherwell player come Monday night. McCall would make a massive error by keeping him on. Blackman I would keep due to his scoring record so far. I so think McCall will keep Blackman and Fitzy and lose Gow. Reynolds will also move on nearer the end of the month.
  9. For all the times I have been in Tannadice I haven't been in Dens even once.......so looking forward to it in that respect as well.
  10. A good few things we need here; 1) The game to take place. Hopefully the weather will be fine and this won't get postponed. Too many midweek games coming up and don't need another. 2) To win this game and give the team some much needed confidence. A defeat is obviously a disaster but a draw would be an easy second for reasons given above. 3) A solid team performance that lasts for the whole 90 minutes. 2-1 Motherwell win for me.

Said with glee before the game "Motherwell are on the slide". The annoying thing is he might be right. To be fair though you only got to see half the game Just as well. Not even Sir Alex won his first 3 games as Dons boss. Imagine the hysteria if they ahd won today??? Spot on. Utter garbage. Hardly a shot on goal again. £20 is WAY too much money for the rubbish that was on show today. Not the fault of McCall....although Gow should have been hooked at halftime and Casagolda should have replaced Blakman MUCH sooner. I don't want to see Alan Gow in a Motherwell shirt again. Utter fraud that appears to becoming more of a liability. Fair play to McCall for wearing shorts in January. Nutter.
  12. Hopefully he has already seen enough of Alan Gow.

Null vote for me. 3rd in a row as well.
  14. Just noticed as well we are at Dundee on the Sunday then back up again on the Wednesday. Not ideal either.
  15. I didnae. In saying that it would have been on my list due to that 93rd minute penalty equaliser

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/9330837.stm Just incase anyone needs reminding of how much we need/want to beat them. Billy Reid acting like an arse, Simon Mensing LOVING celebrating in front of us, the Accies players in Forbes' face pre and post penalty and so on. Plus getting robbed in ET at Fir Park in the League Cup in 2008, McCarthy scoring twice at NDP in Dec 2008 and getting booked for running to the away fans and celebrating, Dougie Imrie's utter scumminess, getting robbed of TWO players NOT being sent off at Fir Park in October. Although the worst crime is their players being more up for these matches than our own and sometimes a win for Accies over us VISUALLY appears to mean more to their fans than when we win. They celebrate (in small numbers mind) like daft when they score against us/beat us. Even when we beat them 3-0 at NDP in 2009 they were celebrating as that was the day they secured SPL survival. Lets remember this if and when we score/win tomorrow.
  17. There was no 'cause' too though. Whether there is legitimate cause I don't know. If anyone was suspicious before the allegations were made then you would need to question every sending off.
  18. Not sure that is true either mate. I've certainly spoke to a couple (not posters on here) who believe he is guilty. Personally, I've not made my mind up either way. A lot of that is down to the underhanded finger pointing by the bookies/media then refusing/not being allowed legally (which should have made the snidy allegations unable to happen but there you go) to disclose the info that they claim to have. On the flip side I think there must be something worth making all the initial fuss over and I'd like to know the lot of it asap so I can make my mind up/get the whole thing put to bed one way or another. I have a feeling we might hear more about this before the 9th.
  19. I was lucky enough to be at the following games; Killie 0 Motherwell 3 Aberdeen 0 Motherwell 3 Hearts 0 Motherwell 2 (x2) St Johnstone 1 Motherwell 2 Rangers 3 Motherwell 3 Breidablik 0 Motherwell 1 Odense 2 Motherwell 1 All great away wins except the Ibrox draw and Odense away which had fantastic finishes instead. For me though Motherwell 6 Hibs 6, and the closing moments of that match, was by FAR the best footballing moment of 2010 for me.
  20. Wonder if Motherwell's stance will force certain parties to 'show their hand' prior to 9th January.
  21. Thought they would have waited to see how teams faired in the Scottish Cup next weekend. Would make more financial sense to play Aberdeen or Dun Utd vs Motherwell on a Saturday than during the week.
  22. So it might not be Tommy Craig then.

Not had the best of records at NDP right enough. IIRC since Accies have came up it has been a 2-0 defeat, 2-2 and 0-0 draws and a sole victory of 3-0. Long overdue giving them a right skelping.
