Unfortunately I think that was the correct decision. Moult's shot on the rebound hit Pearson on the way into the net and Pearo was standing in an offside position.
I would have been content with 6 points from the final 4 games going into the split which is still possible with a draw and a win from the Thistle and ICT games.
If we end up with 8 then happy days, 5 I'll be relatively content, 4 is meh and any less than that it's time to panic.
Poor result. Seems like we had most of the play but didn't really force any saves from their keeper. Outside of Moult and Mcdonald we don't have anyone capable of putting the ball in the net.
Positive spin is we're 1 point further away from
Inverness but that was a game I think most of us would have earmarked for 3 points. On balance we are 1 point worse off than I would have expected over the last 2 games so not a total disaster...yet.
Sarris man of the match by a mile going by the MFC commentary.
Some less than flattering stats for both teams ahead of this one. Accies haven't won away all season and are currently on a 7 game losing streak away from home.
We have taken 1 point from our last 7 home games with our last home win coming in mid November.
Over to you Motherwell. A win tomorrow and we go 9th (or joint 8th if you prefer), 6 points ahead of Inverness, 4 ahead of Accies and nip above Dundee by a point.
A big opportunity.
A draw for me providing that we win tomorrow.
I've got a feeling Dundee will pick up a result though which wouldn't be too bad as County are on a pretty stinking run of form and for me look the more likely of those two to be in the relegation mix come the end of the season.
Fingers crossed the Dandies keep up their recent form and stick a few goals past ICT tonight too.
Fingers crossed he makes it. Bowman has been coming into a game recently though so if Louis is out hopefully the big man can step up and grab a goal or two to really kickstart his career with us.
Was there not a bit of chat about Tait possibly being back for this game too?
Almost right.
Definitely a point gained and by the sounds of the commentary we were the better team. Should give us a heap of confidence going into the Accies game. Unfortunate that they snatched it against 9 man St J at the death.
Watching a bit of the Scotland Under 21's against Estonia and Don Thomas has had some impact since he came on. Running riot down the right hand side.
Hopefully we see this version of him at Fir Park sooner rather than later.
Looks like that's Kieran Kennedy away according to the man himself on twitter. Thanking everyone for their messages and wishing the club good luck for the rest of the season.
Totally agree. His effort can't be faulted and his deliveries both with his right, and cutting in on his left are usually very good. He must be close to the top, if not top, of our assist chart this season?
I really like Tait and he would be one of the first names on the team sheet for me but fast is one thing he isn't. Every time he's come up against a quick winger this season he has struggled. Even Connor Sammon ran past him at Killie the other week, although that may have been more to do with his injury.
Not surprising, reasonably happy with that.
No mention in the article of any change to his contract situation? Still expires at the end of the season then?
