Chris Cadden, Dom Thomas and Zak Jules all in the Scotland under 21's for their upcoming match vs Estonia.

I don't mind Yogi. Mental accent but apart from that he has a decent record and should bring a bit of stability. Going into a relegation scrap id much rather have him than the likes of Canning or Foran. Yogi for a year or two before Craggs, Las etc are ready to step up would work for me.

The three games in the space of a week against Thistle, Accies and Inverness are huge. Wins against the latter two should see us going into the split with a bit of a cushion, especially if we get get some points out of the St J and Partick games. I think Partick will get the top 6 spot quite comfortably but after that it's anyone's guess. Ross County are on a bad run at the minute, and Killie and Dundee probably have the hardest run ins.

I think it must be Shea Gordon. Northern Ireland u21 (i think) international midfielder brought in from Sheffield United in January. No Lucas in the squad. Injured again presumably? -

McHugh, Heneghan and Jules all start. Looks like a 5-3-2 if McHugh is in defence or 4-4-2 if he's in midfield Samson Ferguson Heneghan Jules Hammell Cadden Clay McHugh Pearson Mcdonald Bowman Bench is Griffiths, Ainsworth, Blyth, Lasley, Frear, Campbell and Gordon -

You couldn't do any worse than Joe Chalmers, so it might be worth a shot. -

Ben Heneghan, Zak Jules and Carl McHugh all injury doubts for the weekend....oh dear. Hammell is perma-crocked now and Tait subbed off last week too. Could be a U20's back 4 if none of them make it. -
I'm sure it was confirmed we have a sell on clause when we sold him.

A great and much needed win yesterday. Great celebrations at the end from the players, especially Jules. I thought we started the game brightly and were in control for the first 15-20 mins but Killie grew into the game and were the better team in the first half. Decent banter from Boyd after he scored too. Hats of to Robinson for making the positive changes at HT. I actually though Frear struggled to get into the game but you can't argue with his deliveries from the set pieces. Big Bowman was a handful too and now he's getting a few more minutes under his belt looks like he could be a useful asset. Happy for Jules too, you could tell he had no confidence at all in the early parts of the game, everytime the ball came to him he just leathered it up the park but I thought he grew into the game and popped up with what proved to be the winner. Special mention however for Carl McHugh. I thought he was excellent. Won just about every header against Boyd and Sammon, numerous blocks, helped Jules through the game and got the equaliser. I'll be more than happy for him to play at CB for the next 5-6 weeks until McManus is back. -
Undoubtedly McHugh. Great performance in at centre back and won some amount of headers considering he was up against Boyd and Sammon. Popped up with the equaliser too.

Samson Tait - Heneghan - McHugh - Hammell Cadden - Lasley - Pearson - Frear Mcdonald - Moult Would be my team I think. I know it's only U20's but Frear looked very useful in the highlights against Celtic and could provide a bit of an unknown quantity against Killie. Lasley to sit infront of the back 4 and Pearson and Cadden to support box to box. Huge game today and if we win it tightens everything up again in the league. Important that we see a reaction today, nothing less than 100% and showing we are up for the fight. -
Louis Laing sticking the boot in I see - he does have a point about the results to be fair to him. Caley Thistle defender Louis Laing insists Premiership bottom side Inverness can catch his former club Motherwell. "I don't really want to speak about Motherwell but their past results have been pretty diabolical," he says.

Robinson also mentioned at the press conference today that he came back short term knowing there was some options he was aware of coming up in the summer, or something along those lines.

Does anyone know the story behind Valakari's success in Finland? Promotion, top league win and 2 cup wins with what seems to be an unfancied team is phenomenal in any league. Was there a tonne of money (relatively speaking) available to him or something?
-
Craigan was asked about this by Sutton on BT yesterday and was adamant that Robinson came back with McGhees blessing. Whether it was the club or McGhee who made initial contact or floated the idea he was a bit more vague on though.

What's Steve Lomas up to nowadays? He did a decent job with St Johnstone but haven't heard anything from him recently.
-
Hopefully he can implement a few things picked up during his coaching with Northern Ireland. They certainly showed through the qualifying campaign and the finals of the euros they were a well drilled and defensively sound team. But I agree, I don't think we were particularly clever at the back last time he was here. Time will tell I suppose.

Granted tonight was a good clean sheet against a good Celtic team but our under 20's don't have the greatest defensive record either...48 goals conceded in 24 games, the 4th highest goals conceded in the 17 team Development league. -
He's only got a contract until the end of the season so surely it wouldn't be too expensive to pay off a 3 month contract? Compensation shouldn't be used as an excuse.

It's happening now. See the link to twitter in my previous post.

I'm now firmly in the Out camp. Recent performances and behaviour have been absolutely embarrassing.
