Ah so it is, may be in the squad after all then. If I remember right all the players who have done the signing zone previously have been injured/suspended/not in squad so presumed that would be the same today.
I hope he is at least on the bench, quite intrigued to see what he's all about.
Belic is doing the signing zone thing in the club shop from 1:30pm today which I presume means he won't be in the squad again.
Accies usually seem to be more fired up for these games than our guys do but I firmly believe man for man we are a superior team and being at home we should be disappointed not to take all 3 points.
I'll say 3-1 to Motherwell - Mcdonald, Moult and Heneghan on the scoresheet. Imrie for them obviously.
Link above is to an interview the Well Society did with Paul Goodwin of the Scottish Football Supporters Association. I thought he spoke really well at the most recent Q&A with specific commercial examples of how clubs can grow revenue streams under supporter ownership. Might be of interest to some.
Talking about the whoring out of players, for me the 3 most likely to pull us in the next transfer fee are Cadds, Moult and Henegan.
If I'm correct Henegan signed a 2 year deal this summer but can anyone clarify when the other two's contracts are up?
I saw on Twitter last night that the Well Society released a summary of the August board meeting.
Can't link on my phone but if someone else is able to stick up a link it might be interesting to some.
It appears a draft statement has been drawn up, and the final statement being agreed at the moment, which will be released when the share transfer from Les is complete. Indicates it may not be too far away.
Showing them far too much respect so far. Practically a 5-4-1.
When we get the ball it's 2 or 3 passes before its back to Samson for a punt up the park and Celtic regain possession.
I did a quick bit of reading on the solidarity payments, via Wikipedia so god knows if it's true, but by my calculations we should be due £120,000 from McCormacks transfer! Mental!
5% of the total transfer fee is distributed for compensation (£600,000) and McCormack was here between the ages of 20 and 22 and for each year we are due 10% of the total compensation amount so £60,000 per year, totalling £120,000.
A nice wee unexpected windfall if true. Now for Randolph and Murphy to make some big money moves
Exactly this. I don't think we'll get £1m from him either but talking up your players and putting high 'price tags' on them has seen Dundee Utd and Accies bring in good fees the past.
With 2 years on his contract and money coming in for Pearson and Hall (and possibly Robinson and Leitch) we shoud be forcing home the point that unless an offer matching our valuation comes in he won't be going anywhere this window.
