Sounds like we've had a decent few chances but could do with getting a goal to hopefully open the floodgates.

I was under the impression we couldn't play trialists too. Infact, was the Annan chairman not complaining on the MFC Podcast about it?

Tait for me, really steady performance defensively and swung in a decent cross that Moult headed just wide. I also thought McHugh was excellent for the first 30mins before tiring.

The first 20 minutes were pretty encouraging and we really should have bagged 2 or 3 goals. Hopefully a few more weeks and come the killie game those sorts of chances will be hitting the back of the net. I thought all the new guys showed up pretty well. Mchugh tired in the second half but looks like he should be more than capable. Henegan was steady and made a few decent blocks and Tait was probably my man of the match, defended well and looked good technically.

I imagine we will be due some compensation for Stephen Robinson as well, unless he had a waiver in his contract that he could go for nothing if a job as a number 1 was offered.

The home top is nice in isolation but too much amber going on with the whole kit. I'd have preferred white shorts. Not sure about the 3rd kit and the cup winners names through it. Looks like someone has left a draft watermark on it!

Slightly surprised but not overly disappointed if it's true Hall is away. I'd be happy to go into next season with Mick, Kennedy and Laing as first team cb's supported by Ferguson and Watt if required. As others have said, £100k for a guy that's played about 20 first team games isn't terrible particularly if the added finances let us hold on to Johnson/Moult for another year.

The club have just tweeted that the draw for the first round of the reformatted League Cup will take place live on BT Sport Europe tomorrow night at 7:30pm. I saw Alan Burrows also said on Twitter last night that the draw will be split into North/South regions so the travelling shouldn't be too bad. Being slightly too young to properly remember when there were group stages in this competition before, I'm quite looking forward to this new format. Groups will contain 5 teams I think so hopefully we can get Aidrie and maybe one or two others we haven't played for a while.

Watched the majority of the Q&A there...answers to the Q's were all a bit wooly and didn't realise address any points directly. The most interesting bit was from the guy fan ownership guru, Paul, who was able to provide exact figures/percentages and examples of how other clubs revenue streams increased after fan ownership took place. These are the kind of things I want to be hearing from the Society Board though to help paint a positive picture, give exact examples of how fan ownership can work and convince people to sign up! For me that would be a lot more successful than 'please geez your money'.

Not seen much of Killie this year but the he's always looked a stand out in the highlights I've caught. However, I just watched him in the 1st leg of the play off and deary me, he was dreadful!!
