Could have been a better draw but certainly could have been worse. A winnable home tie was what I was hoping for and we got that. I'm presuming Inverness will prevail against Stirling and on current form I think we could take Inverness. However, they are looking to add to their squad this month and if they get Anthony Stokes in on loan they could prove an even tougher task. If we can keep our form ticking over through Jan and Skippy, Moult and Pearo keep performing I'd fancy us to be in the hat for the quarters!

Motherwell Twitter has just posted some pictures under soil hearing is doing its job and melting the snow. Pitch should be fine providing no serious snow/rain prior to kick off. However, they've asked for any volunteers willing to go down to help clear the car park, stairs, surrounding areas etc. If the game is any doubt it'll likely be for the areas around the stadium, not the pitch itself.

Just caught up on the highlights. I take back what I said about the penalty, it probably was the correct call. However, what was the script with the 'foul' for accies first goal?! Hall didn't touch the ball or the man as far as I can tell and I don't think the tackle showed 'unnecessary force' (or whatever the term is).

Really frustrating end to the game. Purely by the MFC commentary the penalty sounded like a poor decision (one of many) but will wait and see the TV highlights. Trying to keep it on a positive note, that's 5 unbeaten now, 15 points clear of Dundee Utd in 12th and we still have a couple of games in hand over those around us.

Whenever he played he always put in a decent shift and I can't remember him doing anything disastrously wrong but Law is definitely first pick at the minute and with two young players with sell on potential in Kennedy and Watt both able to play RB I think he'll be back out on loan in Jan before being released at the end of the season.

If he does go out on loan hopefully he gets a good 15-20 games under his belt and comes back at the end of the season to replace Marv who's had a blinding second half of the season and has been sold down south for £1m

Not complaining in the slightest but we could have easily had another couple of goals this afternoon, Ainsworth and Johnson in particular. Great tenacious play by Las in the lead up to the penalty. Louis Moult is a hero. Although it didn't look like we were under the cosh too much towards the end (from the highlights anyway), well done to the young lads at the back for keeping it tight for the last 10-15 when McManus went off.

Laing on for McManus and Watt for Ainsworth (did he not just come on at half time?). Very young back line, if we hold out it'll be very impressive!
