Just watched the highlights of Killie vs Ross County. If we don't beat Killie next week then I'll start to worry slightly. They looked truly abysmal at the weekend, County could realistically had 8 or 9. Killie have allowed 90 shots on goal so far this season!! Hopefully 2 wins this week and we can get the season kickstarted.

I wasn't sure whether I was being trolled or not too. Anyone who thinks Aiden McGeady would pitch up at Fir Park needs their head checked.

They've signed Keith Watson from Utd this afternoon so looks like Reid will be with us for a while yet.

Just saw the goals from yesterday! Deary me! Poor stuff! Got me thinking, have we conceded a goal yet this season where you just hold your hands up and say 'fair enough, good goal'? Hearts second is the only one you could say we didn't play a huge part in our own downfall! Dundee Utd was an OG and keeper chasing back as we pushed for an equaliser. Hearts first was a needless penalty. Their second maybe fair enough, decent enough goal but the keeper was maybe a bit suspect. Yesterday both were completely avoidable again! Easier said than done but if we can cut out these daft mistakes it would make some difference to the goals against column.

Will be interested to hear the story from those at the game. The stats on Sportscene showed it as very even. Sounds as if Ripley could have been at fault for both goals but will reserve judgement until I see them.

I've managed to get a mate to me pick me up tickets who I didn't think was coming through but has changed his mind. Cheers for (what I presume) was going to be an offer to get me tickets though Wellfan! Good man!

Although I don't think Hearts will do badly this season I don't think they're all that the media and their fans are cracking them up to be. St Johnstone put 3 past them at Tynecastle and would have taken something if they hadn't chucked in some easy goals and Dundee should have been out of sight at HT last weekend before hearts, to be fair, turned it around. Although wen at that, one of their goals was a pen. With Ainsworth back we should be more of a threat on the break and have a better balance to the team. Pearson will be a big miss but I really think we can take something from the game, particularly if we can keep Juanma quiet. I'll go for an entertaining 2-2. Ainsworth and McDonald for us.

Just read that United haven't won any of their last 8 away matches (D2 L6). Hopefully their away form (and our home form) from last season carries through into this one. Also read that we haven't won the opening 2 games of a campaign since 07/08 so it'd be nice to put that right. Having said that I think both those stats will continue and it'll finish 1-1.

Just had a look at both the tackles which were talking points. In my opinion both were yellows and nothing more as seems to be being suggested by some on P&B etc. Skippy was just a bit too quick for Warren and poked the ball by him. Nothing malicious for me. Same with Pearo..ball was there to be won in a 50/50 and he was a tad late. I think he realises this at the last second and on one of the angles you can see he doesn't actually swing/extend his leg into the tackle. Just unfortunate both guys seems to have picked up bad injuries. Big Wes looked a handful on the highlights and had a few decent chances. I fancied Moult to start for no reason other than that Wes has shite hair but glad he got off the mark yesterday. Marvin is some boy as well! Great run for the somewhat dubious pen.

Leitch on at HT for Pearo and ICT make their 3rd sub at HT. Let's hope one of their players pops a hammy early in the second half!
