Notice Alan Burrows mentioned on Twitter that he's hopeful of having the next signing in before the match on Saturday. Any ideas/rumours who it might be? Obviously skippy is on the radar but not sure if there are any others?

The chat from a County Fan on P&B is that we have outbid them, in terms of wage contribution, for Jackson Irvine on loan from Celtic. I was impressed whenever I saw him for County last year and he would certainly add some energy and dynamism to the middle of the park. Would be quite happy with that providing it's doesn't hinder Jack Leitch's chances for some game time.

Flow confirmed to someone on Twitter the other day that no Trialists travelled with the team so it's not a potential signing. Not sure who it is though...

I'm sure he signed an 18 month contract initially with the club having the option of triggering a further year. If clubs are in for Marvin we should be in a reasonably strong negotiating position.

I've seen a few games that I quite enjoyed but I watched the MLS Final or whatever it's called last season and it was without doubt one of the worst games o have ever witnessed. The quality was appalling.

Agree with this. He seems prone to a wee lapse in concentration now and again (as Hutchy was) but has all the attributes to be a right good defender.

Just saw on P&B someone posted a Twitter link to a Nottingham based journo who said Laing has been offered a very good deal by us and is likely to be back next season. Would be a good signing in my opinion and one we could certainly get a fee for in the future. Can't seem to post a link but the guys handle is @leighcurtis_NP

Scott Mullen of the Evening Times saying on Twitter that despite being on the PFA Scotland available players list, John Sutton is NOT one of the players to be told he has no future at the club.

Went for Johnson today and Pearson on Thursday but I think Josh Law deserves massive credit for how he has played the last 2 games. Absolutely outstanding and fully deserving of his new contract.
