  1. C'mon Motherwell lets fucking do this!!! If we win this my cheer from Edinburgh will be heard at Ibrox!
  2. Just got my tickets over the phone and overheard an interesting conversation while waiting. Apparently rangers fans have been signing up for the well society today, direct debits starting next month and going to the ticket office with their well society confirmation emails. Obviously going to cancel the d/d's as soon as they have tickets. The girls in the office were wise to it though and told them to get tae. Sounds like they are being very thorough in the checks. Well done Motherwell!! Let's get into this mob now!!
  3. Appreciate it will be very busy at the minute but is anyone else who is trying to phone for tickets just getting put back through to the main menu when selecting the ticket office option?
  4. I presume if I manage to book tickets for the 2nd leg over the phone at some point this week I'll be able to collect them on the day of the game? I wont be within 50 miles of Fir Park until Saturday.

    Partick Thistle

Just saw on Twitter that yesterday was Dan's 9th clean sheet in 34 appearances. Not a bad record especially considering our defence this season.
  6. It's all about the first leg for me. If we can keep it tight and get back to Fir Park on level terms or even with a narrow advantage, I'd be positive of atleast not losing at home. McDonald and Erwin should be able to run the legs off McCulloch, Zaliukas and McGregor. Keeping Vuckic and Wallacw quiet will be the key at Ibrox.
  7. Agree Ya Beezer, they are both stinking. If Vuckic and Wallace aren't on it Rangers have nothing. Hibs are all about Scott Allan. Play some nice stuff but are toothless up front. Saying that, we are absolutely stinking too...
  8. By Jove, I think he's got it!
  9. Although I doubt it'll happen a St Mirren win tomorrow would make things very interesting indeed. I still think we'll finish 11th but this could go down to the wire. Killie playing County last game of the season could be good news for us providing we are still in touch.
  10. I meant Ainsworth not Johnson. Auto correct or something like that. In all seriousness though, great result. A few months ago that team would have folded and it would have finished 2-2 or worse. When they got a goal back we continued to push on whilst looking solid at the back. O'Brien was solid, Erwin and mcdonald excellent together and it is absolutely wonderful to have Stevie Hammell back! Onwards and upwards!
  11. County and Killie also play each other on the last day of the season so either one or both won't get maximum points from there.
  12. Would Kidderminster be a full time team? Agree he needs to up his stamina to last more than an hour but might be that he's only been playing full time football since January, might take some time to adjust.
  13. I think we'll win on Friday, 3-1. McDonald, Erwin and Johnson. Hopefully with us getting within 3 points Killie's arse falls out going into the final 2 games and they do a Hibs from last season. Can just see us finishing 11th on goal difference though!
  14. With our next 2 against Killie and St Mirren it's not unthinkable we could get 6 points given our decent home record, Killie's form, and St Mirrens poor home record this season. Killie also play Partick away in 2 weeks who have put together 3 wins. Providing that all goes to plan, it would see us going into the last game against Partick joint with Killie who play County at home. The 11 goal difference between the teams could be an issue though!...trying to stay positive.
  15. Sounds like a positive performance going by twitter. Grant seems to be heavily involved. As an aside, Joe Royal Evertons head of youth development is at the game today. Edit: rubbish timing to put that up, 1-1.
  16. Wasn't at the game but that is absolutely disgusting. I dunno if it was the same guy but at the Fulham friendly at the start of the season me and 3 (non Motherwell supporting) friends went along. At HT a guy asked Hugo Rodallega who was warming up for a pic, he didn't reply and the guy turned to us and said 'imagine getting rejected by a fucking monkey' Couldn't have been more embarrassed...there are some right fucking cretins in our support!
  17. Long Law Laing McManus straker Ainsworth Lasley Pearson Johnson Erwin McDonald
  18. After I posed the question about whether earlier games were an advantage or not, I think I would prefer all games to be at exactly the same time. Forget trying to claw back points before the rest play, or worry about dropping further behind...I would prefer to concentrate on only ourselves for 90 mins and find out what happened elsewhere when we step off the pitch.
  19. 3-1 'Well with Erwin, Mcdonald and Laing on the scoresheet. This prediction is based on absolutely nothing other than hope. County and Partick to draw 1-1 and it's down to 4 points going into the County game at home. Fingers crossed.
  20. Agree that the first 3 matches are must wins to put the pressure on the teams above us, and we should be beating a (probably) youthful, already relegated St Mirren side who can't win at home. We need to set the tone with a good win over accies though which is easier said than done. I also think Partick will be safe and have nothing to play for come the last game of the season so that could also work in our favour. County play Partick and us in their first two games so if they are going to drop points I think it will be here. Do people see it as an advantage or dis-advantage that we play 2 Friday night games? We will either increase the nerves of the teams above us with a win before they play on the Saturday..or they'll go into their games knowing a win will take them further from us!
  21. BBC Sport gossip page has us chasing Jamie McDonald as keeper for next year. I thought he was probably hearts best player last season and was surprised no one from the top division picked him up before he signed for Falkirk. Very competent premier league level keeper. St Mirren and Killie also after him apparently.
  22. 1-0 Celtic. As disgusting as I feel saying this... That's good news.
