Big handsome John will get one when he comes on. Not to worry.

Louis Laing been absolutely solid so far tonight. Absolutely bossing Arquin! Really improved in the last few weeks.

What great forward play by Erwin for both goals! Sign him up!!

Excited and nervous in equal measure for this game tomorrow. If we play the way we did in the second 45's vs Accies and Killie we should be too much for St Mirren. As the manager mentioned in his press conference, it'll be key for us to get a good start to the game. An early goal to set the tone and not let them build any confidence. If Johnson is fit he should come back in on the left and if not then D Thomas. Grant has his qualities but he's not a left winger. I think we'll stretch our lead over them to 10 points tomorrow night with a 3-1 win! As for Dingwall, I think it'll be 1-1 up there.

I can't believe the run County have gone on after picking up 12 points from the first 24 games or something like that. As annoying as it is, fair play to them. But despite their form, a win for us on Tuesday and them getting beaten brings us level. I wonder how that would effect them mentally that despite their great run they still can't shake us. I've got a wee feeling neither of us will end up in the play off place though. Going into the split I think it'll be Motherwell 34pts, County 34pts and Partick 35pts.

FT! Fucking get in! Great win and very much needed with County winning again!
-
Erwin 2-1!!!!

County 2-1 up!

Get in Pearo! 1-1! Good to get level before half time.

1-0 Killie. Howler from Long apparently'

Nope, out injured. Nothing serious but not risked for today.

Agree with this. With how long he kept us hanging on last summer I got the impression he didn't really want to stay and was hoping for a better deal elsewhere. That obviously didn't come to fruition and he signed on. If he plays how he did on Friday for the rest of the season, helps us to safety and gets him a move then it's probably best for all parties.
-
Ah okay. Well fingers crossed we get 3 home games and two of them are against County and Partick. Will give us the best chance of survival I think.
-
Had a look at the fixtures up to the split and being as positive as I can I see it going as follows; Partick - 0 points (34) Ross County - 4 points (32) Motherwell - 7 points (32) St Mirren - 0 points (21) Would bite your hand off for the above, as we would have RC and Partick at home after the split. St Mirren would effectively be gone and we would play them in Paisley with their abysmal home record. Killie away will be relatively difficult and Accies/Dundee away..I'd prefer accies, they are in free fall. 10 points after the split with 2 of the wins coming against RC and Partick and it's happy days. Easy as that really.....I think. I am also sick of Ross county.
-
St Mirren could be almost gone by the split with them playing Celtic, us and County in their next 3 games. 3 losses there and it's a LONG way back for them considering the form of the other teams down the bottom. Getting really nervous (maybe excited in a perverse way?!) about the run in. The games against St Mirren, Partick and RC in particular are going to feel like cup games! Bring it on!
-
After last night I hope Accies free fall continues and they end up in the bottom 6! I'd fancy our chances for 3 points against them more than I would against Dundee or St Johnstone.
-
Exactly this! We need to come flying out the traps, put them under pressure, hopefully get an early goal and let the doubt set in their minds. In the other games against accies this season they've been atleast 1 goal up inside 10mins if I remember right, and when you're on a bad run like we were at the time it can seem like a long way back. We need to do the same to them tonight. Motherwell 3-1 Accies McDonald x2 and Johnson.
-
All sounds very promising!! Anyone know anything about this Scout7 system the club are making a big deal about?
-
Probably because we've been absolutely guff for 99% of this season and you're in quite good form.
-
Pearson and McDonald both start! Excellent news. Who is left back..Law? Ramsden? No straker is good news. Poor lad.

I haven't been to many games this season due to living in Edinburgh but went along yesterday after the rallying call from the club to get people along... I knew things were bad but fuck me that performance yesterday was something else! If that's how we've been playing this season we 100% deserve to go down. I also convinced 3 mates to come along yesterday. Two of which don't really have a Scottish club but I would describe as Motherwell sympathisers. The kind of guys who could be convinced to come back on a regular basis. After that yesterday I don't think they'll be back this season. I actually apologised for bringing them along and them paying £20 to watch that. Absolutely embarrassing. Best bit of the afternoon was watching a competition winner getting a run out at left back. Quite possibly the worst individual performance I've ever seen. A few people have mentioned Ramsdens name in relation to not bothering his arse. Whilst his performances (along with the rest of the team) haven't been good this season. I thought he looked like he atleast cared yesterday...went mental a few times when teammates messed up simple passes and tried to raise the tempo a bit when it came to taking throw ins etc.

Looking forward to the game today. Only my 5th game this season after moving to Edinburgh and somehow managed to see 2 wins so far. Let's hope it's 3 after today. Also managed to convince a mate to come along after the rallying cry from the club/society. EDIT: make that 3 mates - good stuff. Every time I see that fat wanker Harkins play against us he pisses all over us..better not let it happen again. Excited to see the new guys in the flesh and think we'll get the 3points today. 2-1 Motherwell. Sutton and Pearson.

Just caught up on the podcast today. Another good listen guys, well done. Jays points on the alcohol ban and the wider issues of improving the whole match day experience were well put. It really seems that the club are open to ways to improve the experience of attending a match - alcohol at games and safe standing (see Flow's tweets the last week).
