You wouldn't think so, particularly as his parent club aren't anywhere near to being a top team in their league. Hope he stays, seems to be growing a bit of affection for the club which is encouraging and hopefully shows Motherwell fc is still a place guys want to play their football, even if it means less money! Sorry if that doesn't make sense, had a few post Xmas jars.

Scott Burns on twitter says we have first option on Ainsworth after he's told he has no future at Rotherham.
-
BBC Gossip page reporting that Inverness will be in competition with us to get Ainsworth on loan for the second half of the season. He seems to speak positively about his time here so far so fingers crossed we're in pole position if he does have other offers come January. Also mentions that Hibs are in for Jamie Murphy on a permanent deal, who I'd take back in a second if possible.

I really enjoyed the game yesterday. Some good football played and plenty of chances created. Anier, Ainsworth and Lasley were excellent but everyone played well. Also the first time I've seen the loan keeper. Came and flapped/punched a few crosses, could have had something to do with the weather, but other than that he looked decent and was very comfortable with the ball at his feet. All in all a cracking performance, great result and sitting nicely in the league. It's not all bad.

Yeah McCall enquired about taking him on loan after the friendly at the start of the season, if I remember right? One I my best mates is a big Newcastle fan and rates him very highly. Can play up front or wide and is lightning quick apparently. He says at the minute he's just a bit too lightweight and could do with bulking up a bit before appearing more for their first team.

If you're looking to park they used to allow football traffic into the massive council staff car park right across the road from the Mecca Bingo. Not sure if they still do but its worth a shot.

Me and a couple of mates will be heading up. Sounds like a cracking start to the day.

Albion Rovers away! Nice!

Scott Burns from the Express confirmed it is Leitch last night on twitter.

That was fucking grim!

Think it will probably be Carswell playing on the right side of a very narrow looking midfield.
-
Ah apologies mate. Not sure of his contract situation at Viking.
-
His loan is definitely up in January hoof hearted. He did say in a recent press conference he would be open to extending it until the end of the season but just depended on the clubs. Ainsworth's loan is up in January too isn't it? Would like to see him get an extension. His time here has been a bit stop start so far but there's been some really good moments from him when he's played.

Not 'on the move' exactly but his control and cross for Bob's goal against County the other week was bloody marvelous. Don't think it got mentioned as much as it deserved. Mon the Rammers!

A toss up between Lasley and Sutton for me. So many times yesterday when it got a bit scrappy in the midfield Lasley was there to get onto the loose balls and get us possession. Still got a great engine on him for an 'experienced player' breaking into the box on occasion and tracking back well. In the end I voted for Sutton though. Won absolutely everything in the air, just about every flick on found a Motherwell jersey, chest control and lay off's were excellent and just generally led the line and worked tirelessly. Unfortunately couldn't top it off with a goal against his old employers but I think they saw enough to see what they could have had if they'd bothered to use him properly.

Good result after being behind (again), although it would have been really harsh if we didn't take anything from the game after being the better team throughout. I thought Sutton and Las were excellent and Vigurs really came onto a game in the second half after a sticky first 45, his deliveries were perfect every time. Cracking goal by Craig Moore! Dream-like stuff to send a 20 yard screamer into the roof of the net with your first touch of the ball. A wee mention for Rammers as well who is quickly becoming one of my favourite players in the team and now that he is settled back into the right back role is venturing forward more frequently.

Are these silk ones inspired by the ones Kuban were selling? My cousin got one back from Russia and I thought they were really smart.
-
We were on top for virtually 90 mins and even when we were 1-0 down at half time I was more than confident we would come back to win the game. Ainsworth had a major impact when he came on and big Sutton took his chances well. Although I think I witnessed the SPFL's slowest race ever between him and Munro today for his second Wee mention to Ramsden as well ... what a first touch and cross for McHugh's goal!

The man doth speak the truth.

Aye, full of the apprentice mechanics. The old boys who's played in the works team the last 10 years has been binned.
-
As I pressure as he has been in midfield has Carswell not played right back a good few times for the under 20's? Might be an option with Lawson in midfield.
-
Saw on twitter one of the youth players tweeted Adam Cummins saying we had a scouse lad on trial.. Don't know if it's any of these guys though.
-
Lasley, O'Brien, Hammell and McGarry were talking about this on twitter haha! To be fair he could definitely spot a player, shame his cunty-ness let him down!
-
Apologies for the ignorance but what is Gordon Young's position within the youth set up now? Does he oversee the work done by the coaches across all the age groups?
-
John Sutton for me, the big handsome bastard that he is! Won everything in the air, good link up play, didn't stop running and capped it all with the winner. Mentions as well for Lasley, Carswell and Ramsden, before he got sent off.
