Cummins has been struggling in last few games look at his position for Dons second goal also second game in row where Kerr has been ripped he was like rabbit in headlights. Humph wasn't great but was up against decent full back when we should have been having go at the right side of Rangers. I worry at our lack of width left side as teams can run at will down there. Fans were great team couldn't match the effort today!
-
For me take out Kerr and Cummins both ripped apart in last 2 games. I'd also drop Hump and Henrik. ------------------- Randolph ------------------ Harley ------- Hutch ------ Ramsden ----- Hammell Omar ------- Las ---------- Law ---------- Francois-Angol ------------------Higgy ---------- Murphy -------------- Hope for the best but fear the worst.

According to @MotherwellFC on twitter only 80 tickets left for Well fans!!!!

Is SM the new Arsene - told he has money to spend but doesn't want to spend? Squad may be ok but surely if money is available we should be looking to bring in?
-
Would there be a fee with Hatley?
-
So is that the level of ambition for our club. Are most 'Well fans happy if we finish 10 points above bottom. I don't want to see high risk reckless spending but some investment in the squad will help develop the youngsters. Leanne said funds available to bring in 2 or 3 so let's see what happens.

Does anyone think that the board may have looked at the rest of the SPL and thought we'll be fine with the fall back that cash would still be available in Jan if we are in any trouble?
-
Hearts boss has confirmed Stevenston to have medical at jambos. To play on Sunday any new need to be registered by 5pm. Happy to go with kids but would like a fresh face in.
-
SM seems by all accounts to be able to get players to buy in to his vision and then deals fall through so where should the blame be pointed. Not looking forward to tomorrow as we'll be lucky to keep the same size squad expecting at least as many out as in!
-
SM was on radio, deal not done yet but would like him. See's him playing centre midfield allowing Law to push forward. Interesting possible deal came from Paul Jewell phoning him a few times although did sound like he wanted advice on some players from Scotland. Also interesting that Kenny Shields said Killie wanted Stevenston but his agent phoned today to say wouldn't be going to Killie. IMO decent signing but do expect a few in and out this week.

read at weekend he was due to sign for Dundee

right now i'd drive Ojamma to anyone who wants him!

Anyone know if home leg has confirmed kick off time? Just looking at Sky Sports app and it has home and away games as 4pm kick offs and wonder if this done for TV. Seem to remember Dortmund home game being a midweek afternoon kick off all those years ago. Then again maybe just Sky got typo!
-
He's just had knee surgery. So diff injury and should come back ok.
-
Seen on Sky transfer site talk of Faddy also heading to Coventry! Interesting to see if he does make a cameo on Saturday.

I'll take survival now - I don't mean based on performance as i think we'll be clear of the relegation place(s) but just survival as a club would do. A lot will be needed from young guys and possibly not just the ones we have seen already maybe even the ones coming up from the 19's. I think we 'need' movement out before the end of August but not sure who will go... Randolph, Murphy & Humphrey seem the most valued but usuall clubs move keepers early on so that they can settle with a new defense so not sure Randy will go. Possibly Murphy & Humphrey to move but who knows might also see Law, Ojamma & Hutch move? Real test for McCall as manager and will be real test for youngsters, but if we do survive and the youngsters do well we could see real benefit in 2/3 seasons time.
-
But if by playing 3 in the middle we can push our wingers further up then they should be getting close to higgo when attacking.
-
From what I read yesterday the next payment from the TV deal is approx £600k and is due on 6th August. This looks to be at risk and if we do not receive we simply may not have enough cash flow to pay bills, wages, etc. In this scenario no matter how good the club business plan is and how healthy it looks over next season and beyond administration would happen.

Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
TAM replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
I don't think I've read anywhere that any teams will be kept above us at all costs. I'm sure other clubs probably felt same when we finished bottom and were not relegated. Like I said personal choice and don't care who it is against. -

It's a personal preference that's all. -
Straight Question(S) To The Board Of Mfc Re. Sfl Proposal
TAM replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
SSN have it on breaking news Motherwell will vote no. I don't see that anywhere. I'm all for sporting integrity but not ahead of reality. If the board feel they need to do what is best to allow us to survive then I'll back them. I want to be able to continue to watch Motherwell in the top division in Scotland no matter who against and no matter what the league is called.I voted for vote yes in the online poll a while back and know I was in a minority. -
Straight Question To The Board Of Mfc Re. Rangers Newco
TAM replied to Steve Diggle's topic in Club Chat
Seems like I'm very much in a minority as for me it's a YES. I accept the comments regarding sporting integrity and us being on a financially sound footing, but for me voting no will put at risk the future of the SPL for quite a long time. Like it or not we do rely on the money we get from playing Rangers and also from the broadcast deal. There may well still be a broadcast deal but dramatically reduced. There is also part of me that says saying no will eventually benefit Rangers, they get to reduce wage bills, they get to still potentially win trophies (ok 3rd Div etc) and they build a mentality with fans where everyone is against them. It also means the potential for them to buy the odd player from other SPL teams goes and thus less money circulating. I also believe they shoudl be made to face the punishment in the SPL. Playing each season with a points deduction and having to watch other teams take their place in Europe. I think we all accept that it isn't a straight yes or no and i'm sure that we trust those in power at FP to share their thoughts and reasons for which way they decide when the time comes. -
It's on official site now.. Lasley stays for another 2 years and 'is likley to become club captain'
