  1. Carson was League Two but had just suffered relegation with Hartlepool was was National League bound. We managed to get Randolph from League One as well as Gillespie.
  2. Liam Polworth signs for Kilmarnock.
  3. A couple of pre season friendlies announced. One against Dumbarton this Saturday and one against Millwall on the 10th July.
  4. As above, that Woolery guy has just signed officially.
  5. Craig Tanner signs for Ebbsfleet Town, he seemed to do alright in the National League but is dropping further down.
  6. Lafferty heading to Anorthosis Famagusta.

I was really sad to read this news at the weekend. I remember reading many of his posts on here and on twitter less than 24 hours before we found out he had sadly passed. Like many on here I never knew Andy personally, however when I started the Motherwellnet website many years ago I had asked him for some information as he had the Exiles Club website and he provided an array of information and so much more including season reviews, images, player info etc which was always appreciated. I always enjoyed his post match analysis as he always seemed to wait until the evening to give his tuppence worth on the days events whether we won, lost or drew. He will certainly be missed by many around these parts.
  8. Stewart is another player heading for the exit door but I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Aberdeen or Hibs or maybe even Dundee seeing he was on the books previously at Dens. I think a decent pacey winger is something we missed last season, Jones and Stewart are two I would happily look at but wouldn't be surprised if they were outwith our budget.
  9. Jordan Archer and Marvin Johnson released by Middlesbrough earlier today.
  10. Iain Vigurs and Jermaine Hylton released by Ross County.
  11. I really like Dunne, if he could maintain his fitness and remain injury free he would be a great asset. That's the main concern though as he never played last season, I think he played 6 or 7 the year before and had some issues in the first half of the 18/19 season so he probably made around 30 appearances in the last three years I would imagine.
  12. Totally random but after Tanner left us he had posted a football CV brochure type thing on LinkedIn and under his achievements he had 4 goals in 4 games versus Dundee listed. Killie have been awful so far in both legs of the playoffs, by all accounts they paid cash they didn't have to get Lafferty. I can see them struggling for a while.
  13. I thought that we had unearthed a gem early on as I remember back to back performances against Hibs and Hearts where he scored some tremendous goals but sadly he quickly faded and never kicked on. In regards to the list, it might seem harsh but they're a few others who played regularly this season I wouldn't be too sad to see depart should the opportunity arise. After this season a clean slate was certainly required. Gutted to see Campbell go, would be delighted to retain Cole and it would be amazing if we could get Kelly back, according to QPR fans he's third choice but I would be surprised if he has other suitors. I won't be shedding a tear for any others heading out the exit door.
  14. I seen the club advertising the premium roof advertising space around the stadium on LinkedIn so there goes the slim hopes of a nice ad free roof again lol. Looking forward to seeing the changes around the place when we finally get to return.
  15. I always liked Forbes and despite his lack of pace he had a tremendous left peg on him. His goal scoring run under Gannon was great, his equaliser against St Johnstone and his goal versus Steaua were tremendous, he seemed to lose his way under McCall when Jennings and Lasley cemented the central midfield berths but saying that I do remember him bossing Scott Broon in a fine 2-0 over Celtic in 2011.
  16. Funnily enough I do remember some folk applaud a Vigurs goal when he ended up at Inverness after he recovered from his bad back. We got beat 3-1 and he scored the third, it was a corner floated right over everyone and Vigurs connected with the ball on the edge of the box and slung it right into the corner.
  17. I believe we tried to sign Callachan previously when he played for Raith Rovers but Hearts beat us to the punch.
  18. Big foreheaded prick Wankland blazes it well wide.
