Jim Griffin was my lecturer at college and he is spot on. Also worked beside Wille Pettigrew and Ian Kennedy and both are great guys. Kennedy used to happily tell the tails of his time at well. Met Scott McDonald in East Kilbride PO - the place was packed and nobody took any notice of him which seemed to annoy him. A wee boy came in and noticed him and asked for his autograph and he just tutted at him and his mum. I met Steve McMillian lately, he was a nice guy. Happy to chat away.

I wonder if McGarry will be away in January. Smith and Fitz are obv injured and would imagine they would be here until the summer at least, whereas McGarry has always been available. I think his shocker in the League Cup against Inverness was the final nail in the coffin for him. It certainely will be intresting to see what happens.

I think he may get more appealing offers than aberdeen. Hope Gannon persuades him to stay put. But with Clarkson, Quinn and Porter all away to the championship im sure jim will fancy his chances and will follow suit if a club comes calling.

Hope we can tie up Ruddy and Jutkiewicz until the end of the season. We certainely need more fire power. Our side is well covered at the back and midfield. I think wee slane will add a new dimension upon his return from injury.

2-1 Motherwell, Jutkiewicz netting a double. Can see Riordan netting from close range as he always seems to do against us. Decent draw. Would have been nice to get a rare visit to cliftonhill or a venue along those lines. Loved the trip to stair park which seems many a moon ago now. I think we will take a decent crowd and win. A few all SPL ties so assuming we pass ICT lets hope for a side we rarely play.

This ref has been woeful in a number of well games. Mind the St Mirren game (the last one at LOVE st) he bottled a late stone wall pen for us. I thought Swanson should have walked as the challenge happened in front of where i was sitting and although Las rode the challenge he was intent on taking him out. He did however miss key moments and was overly fussy. Ruined a game which i was enjoying. Dallas should get the finger out now.
