Actually, your right i think it may have been white and yellow at first i thought it looked a bit like a contractors van. I went past it probably at around half 6 or 7. I also noticed two other car loads of 'well fans at the services in both a Volkswagen Passat and a Polo before it when we stopped so they will likely have spotted it as well.
-
Aye, pepper thats the bastard there.
-
There were two of them, the first of them i noticed nobody really seemed to be slowing down for, either they missed it like me or they knew it couldn't get you in trouble and then there was another slightly further up the road which cars were slowing down for. I was under the impression that the ones painted in bright colours are the ones with the speed cameras? I hope your right though mate. Just need to wait and see.
-
Aye, i too would be interested in purchasing one of the £3 strips if there were any available.
-
I hope to fuck it never caught me, if i only got a fine id accept that but if i get points on my license im humped. I cant have been doing over 80 when i seen it though and i braked, speedometers also seem to exagerate the speed so perhaps we'll be alright. I know i shouldnt have been speeding but that bit of road is 3 or 4 lanes wide and always empty they just know people are going to be doing 80 or above on it.

I spoke to Frazza B from these boards yesterday at the fan zone and he mentioned they were going through so it was probably them. What was the score?

Sorry Guys....unhappy Topic But Need Some Help!
gav212 replied to walking down the Fir Park's topic in Club Chat
I thought it was another case of stewards being heavy handed but i clearly saw it wrong. Disgraceful. Hope the two gents are alright, i know who the older guy is and he has always seemed to me to be very quiet. Follows his team far and wide, hes the kind of supporter we need not the mugs that attacked him. -
You were with me and maxi and co at one point although you likely wont remember me. You dropped something and had to wade in to get it. Hero. I also hope this is the right Iain. EDIT - Oh aye and the abuse you were shouting at the h*n was vile.
-
Aye, after reading up on it i think il be alright but the guy in the lane to the right of me must have been doing at least a tonne. Hopefully they'll have mercy on me seeing as its a micra. Anyway, i wont let thinking about that spoil a great trip, the folks at our B&B were brilliant as well i would go back down for a game in a heartbeat.

"Like Clockwork" apart from the blowout? I'm just home, really enjoyed my trip. Locals were great and made us feel very welcome the walk to the stadium, the game itself and the fanzone were all brilliant. Just to put a dampener on it i think i may have got speeding on the way home around Carlisle by a van on top of a bridge, anyone else see it?
-
Will be leaving my house in 2 hours to set off on the drive there.
-
By christ, i hope not.
-
Thanks for the info mate, looking forward to it!

Porter deserves a place on the list in my opinion, Brilliant player.
-
Tony, Respect isnt coming onto our board to say how pish our team are. If you can dish it out then you should be able to take it back from the other two posters.
-
Im thinking... Reynolds, Hammell, Craigan, O'Brien, Sutton. Not really sure though.

He was one of my lecturers at college last year.

I would avoid going to Celtic Park or Ibrox, you will be herded into a small corner like cattle and made to sit down for the whole 90 minutes. The atmosphere at these grounds is terrible also, you would be much better to go to a game against Rangers or Celtic at Fir Park or even against Hearts at Tynecastle, it is a great day out.
-
Thanks for that kev. EDIT - More than half of the words spoken in that interview are the word "Mate".
-
What the fuck is with the stick O'Brien gets on this forum? It baffles me, hes easily our most skillful player and has probably been a clear candidate for man of the match in 75% of the games hes played for us.
-
I hope to christ none of our potential signings saw that game last night, theres no chance they'd want to be part of that shower of shite.

I actually had Slane in, the boy is a wee dickhead but a good player. Id still be tempted to go with McGarry just for experiences sake, i dont buy into the idea of playing youngsters in a game like this id much rather go with experince when trying to break down an 11 man defence. I would however be tempted to make changes early on if it was clear somebody like McGarry just wasn't at the races. Im not trying to defend McGarrys performance tonight, he was absolutely garbage but i do think he has something to offer if played up front in his natural position. Sutton looked like an absolute carthorse tonight but give him a good chance and he'll usually strike it cleanly and it ends up in the back of the net most of the time. I just cant see two youngsters having the same presence up front despite Suttons poor display tonight.

Team for next Thursday. Fraser Saunders Reynolds Craigan Hammell Smith Lasley Fitzpatrick O'Brien Sutton McGarry That team at least looks half experienced, they might not play with the most flair but i think we would stand a far better chance of going through with that team on the park than hungry but rough youngsters. If its not working you then have Slane and Murphy to call on to try and make an impact. O'Brien is capable of giving the defenders a torrid time so i may be tempted to play him up front instead of McGarry and re-jig the midfield. Will Jennings be available for next week?
-
I genuinely cant see us winning next week im afraid, we are below a junior/amateur side.
-
Not one of them is deserving, well perhaps Slane. As for Forbes, i thought he was rotten. For the amount of time he had on the ball he never made one telling pass, always the easy option. Anyone could do what he done tonight.
