Rubbish, he never "done" him, was a complete accident on his part. Having watched him playing for Lanark United he might have been a bit of a hothead but he was always hard working enough and never set out to hurt a player.

Paul Quinn is a far better player than Hamell, how many times did he get caught out of position and leave craigan running out to cover for him. Hes never a defender.

how hard can it be for somebody at the club to contact St Mirren, confirm what the situation with any remaining tickets is and then post it up on the official site. Me and my mate will be travelling through not knowing if we will get a ticket or not. If Motherwell are to be believed we will, if St Mirren are to be believed we wont.

Being a bit of a follower of Fulham myself i would love it if we signed Simon Elliot, very tidy player! Could perhaps begin to replace some of that experience and calmness in the middle of the park we've been lacking since we tragically lost Phil.

My uncle said he phoned fir park today and was told that there would be 500 tickets on sale at love street tomorrow, me and my mate are going to head through and see what the deal is.

I think anyone hoping for a ticket (myself included) could be sorely dissapointed.

If he does go he goes with my best wishes, hes proved a great player for us and has scored many a vital goal. He hasnt moaned about wanting away like that wee wanker Mcdonald did, just got his head down and got on with it.

Back to the passing football, great to see. Thought we played very well but made it harder for ourselves than we perhaps needed to. Great tribute to phil on 78 minutes and there was one solitary star in the sky over fir park just above the south stand, maybe Phil looking down on us, i think he would have liked what he saw.
