I think our performance in midweek is also cause for cautious optimism. We played well over both halves and had hearts pinned back in their penalty box for large parts of the game. We're just lacking a little something to get us winning games again, hopefully Craig and Archie can instill that winning mentality again and get in personell to help us do so.

Perhaps for the next few games if the weather keeps up, the occupants of the east stand and the cooper could be moved to the south stand. The main stand closed and the cooper given to away fans? Or if it was a smaller away support, just the east closed to home fans, the east standers sat in the south and the away fans in a section of the main stand. I appreciate the south stand was also an issue but of the two i imagine it is less problematic.

Quite sad to see McGarry go, not the most skillful player in the world but always gave his all for the club. Quite sad we never ever got to see him playing up front which is his preferred position. Wish him well wherever he ends up. All the best Stevie.

Hopefully Leitch isn't considered, The club stood by him after he had been sacked by Ross County by appointing him as caretaker manager then if you remember, McGhee didn't want him as assistant but the club told him to like it or lump it. Then he knocked back the offer of the managers job to follow mutley north, nice way to repay the clubs loyalty.

Vincent Pericard is a good shout, seen him play for Carlisle a fair few times and aside from against Bradford when some big carthorse man handled him all game and got away with it, hes caused the opposition big problems. Highly doubt he'd sign for us, reckon he'll be off to a higher league 1 team/lower championship or stay put at Carlisle.

Aye Clarkson would have been my guess too, scored 60 odd goals for us by the time he left if i remember correctly.

The ticket office has always been a shambles, for instance, the time i went up to get a ticket for a game at tynecastle, i was there half an hour before the advertised closing time and was told that the til had been emptied and counted so they couldn't sell me any tickets. I was absolutely fuming. To be fair, this was before Leanne arrived at the club but still, if i had taken a trip to the post office during the advertised opening hours to find it was shut i wouldn't have been best pleased, cant really defend the club on this one. If you phone every place of business your visiting over the festive period to check they're no away for a scran then your fucking mental.

I think it is important to remember that the sellic faithful are the most sinned against poor souls on earth, and their club is a magnificent organization who will welcome anyone regardless of religous beliefs, colour or country. Of course they havent swept years of sectarianism and child abuse under the carpet, dont be silly!
