Jeezo Diggle! Tearjerker if ever there was one! I can only echo what you said though, think my first game was before the final but it's the final that sticks in my mind. Although I can't remember too much about the game (I was too busy swinging on the crash barriers, or falling off it when a goal went in) I can still remember the whole hype of the morning, leaving from the Station Hotel in Shotts, walking into the ground buying my flag. The next day with the parade was tremendous, was the whole family heading in to see the guys, we've still got a belter of a photo from that day. Unfortunately for me, I think working at FP now is really taking away any passion from the game, mainly folk on places like these boards talking absolute nonsense with their "insider info". This summer is just getting too much to handle with "confirmed sponsors" and rumours about the kit with people claiming they know this, that and the next thing when I know for a fact it's nonsense. I'm not getting involved, I'm not going to confirm or deny anything, I tried previously to come on and answer queries about bits and pieces which just lead to folk having a go at me. That's not what Motherwell should be about. I wish I could get that attitude of 91 days back, when I cared about the team, the results and nothing else. These days it's all about money, ego's, folk trying to be the man who knows it all and people getting involved in things they really don't have a clue about. It's a shame.

Hateley for me. To get the ball up and over the wall, beat the keeper who'd be in the best possible position to get to it and to get it into the inside-netting was just sublime

Nail on the head there from Mr Diggle. I'm at the stage now where I can't afford to pay transport and over-priced entry into football games every single week. Going to football is a luxury in life I'm afraid, but one that will continually drop lower and lower in many folks priorities, mine included. I don't even think I'll get a season ticket next year, which isn't something I'm happy with but really needs to be done.

Terrible challenge and Miller was rightly sent packing. Don't blame O'Brien at all for reacting, Miller can consider himself lucky not to have received a kicking from the 'Well team and most of the East Stand
