  1. Edit: Posted in error, or haste.....
  2. Erm, I had previously stated it was a foul and then stated that Hammell fell over a leg, ergo didn't misjudge a cross or simply fall.... I agree with you!!
  3. I can't access that link at work, but I would agree with that. Would the person selling it have the morals to do so though?
  4. The highlights showed that Hammell fell over the goalscorer's leg as he was tracking the cross back Anyway, I'd be very surprised if a bid was accepted and if he took the step down just now.
  5. You'd be right about that spelling - a few variations throughout it!!
  6. Wasn't just the linesman and referee that missed the trip on him then?!
  7. He started, and played very well, on Thursday night so I think it's fair to say he's in Jim Gannon's plans. Dundee can be interested in Stevie Hammell all they want, if Jim Gannon has Stevie Hammell in his plans then they'll get a negative response to any approaches.
  8. Source?! In all seriousness though, I'd be very surprised if he was to see Accies as a career improving move. They'll never off £400,000 but that sort of fee would be difficult to turn down you'd imagine........
  9. This is Motherwell; 4-0 up in inury time and then we'll lose a goal to go out on away goals!!
  10. I was impressed with that switch as well - nothing against Ross Forbes, but he was having a poor game last night which will happen to everyone and it was a good change. Also Gannon's willingness to change things as soon as he thought it wasn't working, which was not something we witnessed last season.
  11. Have to say, I've been impressed with Jennings as well. He does look like he needs to sharpen up, but still impressed me. Think he's going to be one to split the fans.....
  12. I can't find the post now, but there was a Northampton fan on here who was having a right go at Coke, but in his post he referred to him as 'Grammy' - which led to suggestions in here of 'Cannae' or 'Tinny'. Much along similar lines to your suggestions of course, but Grammy seems to have been a nickname of his in the past..... For what it's worth I think Humphrey is desparately in need of a bit of confidence and some crossing practice but there's definitely something there with all of our signings. Jim'll Fix It.
  13. It's one of the buttons underneath the 'screens'....... Did 'Boggy'(?) not provide a link that allowed ProTv to be played without Sopcast? He reckons you can just click on that when the game starts and you'll be sorted.......

    Paul Mcgrillen

Tragic news. Another former player taken far too soon. RIP

    Canterbury

Unless St Johnstone are launching their away kit on the same day!!
  16. Is it not going to be a totally different channel to that one though?
  17. Still can't get them on my phone....
  18. Record score is 12-1 v Dundee Utd I'm sure........ While these Europa League record claims are a bit like shooting fish in a barrel, it's nice to be able to make them!! Edit: His actual hat trick, from first goal to last was 12 minutes was it not?
  19. Great result and a great performance. Before the game and during the first 10 minutes I was fearing a nervous night, thankfully that was short lived. Easy to get carried away with the result given the standard of the opposition who were out on their feet after 20 minutes but that could be a huge result psychologically as well. Paul Slane's reaction to being substituted and the standing ovation was immense. I couldn't care less if he is 'Well fan or not, but his reaction was the sort you'd expect from a 'Well fan receiving a standing ovation from the Motherwell support. He was loving it!
  20. Slane was outstanding, as was Ross Forbes but I went for Big John. He may not have scored, but his performance was outstanding. Totally selfless and his contribution was vital to that result.
  21. I think it was simply an indication that Jim Gannon will use the entire squad in whichever way he feels is required to win the game. The omissions of Smith and Fitzpatrick may prove to be significant, but I don't think the starting 11 was an inidication that Hammell and Lasley are going to be permanently out of the team.
  22. I have every faith in Gannon's signings, and am very confident that he hasn't underestimated the SPL. During his interview he really surprised the directors with his knowledge of the Motherwell squad - even the Under 19's - and Scottish football in general. He outlined exactly where he felt improvements were needed in the squad. He knows what he is doing!
  23. A day off?! Not for me But aye, get behind the team
  24. I suppose Airdrie technically was away though....!
