  1. Through the managers questionable recruitment policy in the summer, we are now starting each game with Gillespie, Tait and 9 central players shoe horned into a god only knows what formation. The side lacks balance, creativity, natural width and pace in attacking positions
  2. A step in the right direction of trimming the squad of some of these central players we ve stock piled
  3. After 20 months and 2 transfer windows (?), in that time would you expect a decent coach to have analysed & worked with the squad at his disposal & to have got his ideas across ?
  4. He s valued in the region of £4,000,000 I believe. So it won't be us
  5. I think the speed Thomson produces the red card, he has had no time to take any instruction. I d say it was his decision alone
  6. Just because there is contact doesnt mean its a foul
  7. Fraser Kerr to be added to that list
  8. Higdon scores for Nijmegen, into double figures now, in all all competitions
  9. Wasn't McCall also manager of the season for 2012/13
  10. Thought someone would ve mentioned Paul Baker by now
  11. This result may yet just be dismissed as lucky by MJC, like the 18 wins were last season
  12. Surely any Motherwell win will be down to luck, regardless of form and forcing the play
  13. No chance ! The sad thing is they'll be pissed off hes scored, as the most important thing for some, appears to be being proved right on an internet forum. They won't post for a few days , let the eurphoria die down. Then give it a couple of matches when Higdon doesn't score it'll be the same old shit
  14. It must be very frustrating for some posters that there is no way we can pin Hutchison's sending off on Michael Higdon's shortcomings
  15. It's a no win situation for a manager once he raises the expectation level of the fans
  16. Couple of poor results/poor performances and he won't be the answer again
  17. The defending at set pieces, particularly corners was chaotic
  18. Found this on another site - couldn't see any references to this on the board - Connerton has spent sometime this month on trial with an un-named SPL team SKELMERSDALE UNITED boss Tommy Lawson predicts promotion rivals Lancaster City will feel the loss of a star striker much like his side did last season. City sit one place above Skem in the UniBond First Division North standings but having played five games less, some would say are in an ideal position to make a run at the title this season. However, Lawson believes with the sale of their top striker Jordan Connerton to Scottish Premier League outfit Motherwell in the offing, the men from the Giant Axe could suffer like Skem did after the sale of George Donnelly to Plymouth Argyle in March. Lawson said: "I expect Lancaster to have a blip and the player Connerton, who has been scoring all their goals this season, is going to Motherwell on loan in January with it a done and dusted deal for him to go there. "We know who hard it is replacing someone who has been so prolific and I think it will affect them, maybe not initially, but it will." http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/amate...00252-25270696/
