I've swapped the background so that the 1st background resembles the old colour scheme and the lollipop is now the 4th choice and added the @Steelmenonline and @BytheMinMFC Twitter accounts to the much maligned shoutbox.

The backgrounds are 1080x2035 your screen resolution must be smaller, I'll look into the options and see if there is a resize option (SQL and php are not my 1st or 2nd languages)

There is an option to add twitter updates to the shoutbox, I'll test it later, when it's less intrusive.

On mobile if you click the bar above your post where your name is a bar pops up under with the edit and quote buttons

The first step on improving the forum, what are your thoughts on the shoutbox?

Aye those background images are huge, although they are the size recommended by the skin author, there's a wee bit of fiddling to make more than 4 available, but it could be done for a lesser resolution than 2560 x 1200, not sure anyone's screen should be that size

Compost corner would seem to have been superceded by facebook & Twitter although the NSFW forum is buried in there and that has value, no point throwing out the baby with the bath water on day one, I've learned a helluva lot the past 3 weeks so hopefull of improving the forum look & feel as well as accessability.

The shoutbox could be disabled during matches if that would encourage match thread chat. Open to suggestions at all times folks

Well that seemed to go smoothly enough, shoutbox will be installed promptly and I'll get on the case of skinning the forum with the custom theme. If there are any suggestions/bugs then please use the forum at the bottom of the front page to report them or send a PM

I thought the biggest room in the house was the South Stand...

It should be fixed at the moment, but we've no idea of the exploit used, it's easily repaired but the security of the forum etc means it's time to upgrade.

Been messing around with the new skin these are very rough tests of what's achievable. The backgrounds are customisable and I just flung in some images I had lying around. This is where we'd like your help/input. It's your forum so we're looking for 4 images to fill the background space, image size should be 2560 x 1200 preferably high quality and provide decent contrast.
