I'm a Motherwell fan and can't be arsed watching Motherwell on a Tuesday night more than 2 or 3 times a season.

'Aye good one Tommy' I replied.... half an hour later I walked down to the tea room where he was sitting watching the telly. Also had the privilege of working at his house the day after we beat Celtic in the semi final, hungover and not in the mood to go to my next job, he made me tea and toast and we spent the whole day chatting so he could miss training with a fault in his garage wiring and I didn't have to work with my hangover. Showing Anton Rogan the ball after Rogan had kicked lumps out him was a favourite moment.

I was gutted when we were put out the cup and any time previous as well, we weren't good enough on the day. Aberdeen winning the League cup has little effect on me, unlike the final we lost to Celtic which is pretty much the biggest boot in the balls this century, followed by 3 defeats at the hands of Rangers.

We have no right to silverware, in 91 we were jammy as fuck, some great performances, but all the moaning about it is fucking chronic.

We had a wee run in the early 80's of 4 without defeat, but one of those was a draw. Can't be arsed going back further. Favourite night was Dec 15th 1993 when we beat them 3-2 at Tynecastle after years and 22 games without a win there.
